My recent visit to the Subway on 532 E Anamosa St, Rapid City, SD 57701 left much to be desired. The ambiance was typical for a fast-food establishment, but unfortunately, the service failed to meet even the most basic expectations.
Upon entering, we were greeted by an elderly woman with short white and red hair. While it's understandable that age may affect one's speed, the lack of assistance from her coworkers only exacerbated the issue. The atmosphere felt tense, and it was evident that communication among the staff was lacking.
Things took a turn for the worse when my boyfriend requested mozzarella on his sandwich. Instead of a polite response, the elderly employee snapped at him, stating they were out of mozzarella. He then opted for another cheese and requested the sandwich to be toasted. Unfortunately, his request was ignored, and the sandwich was handed over untoasted.
To add insult to injury, when my boyfriend politely pointed out the oversight, the employee simply replied with a curt "Thank you" and proceeded to wrap up the sandwich. The lack of courtesy and attention to customer requests was disappointing and left us dissatisfied with the overall experience.
It's crucial for any restaurant, including fast-food establishments like Subway, to prioritize customer service. A little more training and teamwork among the staff could go a long way in enhancing the dining experience for patrons. Until improvements are made, I would hesitate to recommend this particular Subway...
Read moreIn order to take advantage of the two for 10$ special, I had to order online, which was inconvenient, and difficult to navigate, as some glitches, or insufficient design platform through the site, like no option to select cheese, or pickles olives, spinich... etc...BUT, THE VERY LOVELY WOMAN making my sadbwiches, was delightful. Friendly, sweet and great customer service. I hope you get Miranda make your sandwich, as she really made my day. BEST Subway BMT, ...EVER! I will return, because of Miranda.... Update** returned a few more times, never saw Miranda again, and received worsening service and sandwiches...last visit was what I believed to the manager, who all but refused to make the sandwich the way I asked, by my requests for more than 5 pieces of lettuce, and skimpy vegetables... pretty ridiculous that that he argued with me and repeatedly stated the way iwanted my sandwich would prevent it from closing...but ALL THE EMPLOYEES were able to make, close and wrap the sandwich. What he should have said, was, " look customer, the sandwich we're making here already has a cost of.60 cents...all these extra veggies is cutting into my profits...". I...

Really rude service, one of the employees yawned while making my sub and didn't cover their mouth or even look away. I ordered a pizza sub, which is extremely simple, and they made it incorrectly and barely put any marinara on it. They also arranged the cheese so most of it was on only half of it. I asked if they could add more cheese rather than making them pick it off. After this was done and my sub is made, the shift lead (im assuming) asks the employee if they made it right and the employee says "I have no idea" and continues on with whatever they were doing. I said no they didn't and the shift lead says "oh ok" and I explained how it should be done. (I'm a previous employee of a Subway) I assumed they would make me a new one and asked if they were and the shift lead says " oh no, do you want me to?" and I was in a time crunch on lunch break and had to leave. WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. I'd rather go to little caesars at this point if I'm craving a pizza sub....
