Amazon Hub Review: I selected this shop for my Amazon delivery. I came in the middle of the day yesterday and the door was locked and no one was inside. 20 minutes later, still locked with the phone going to generic voicemail. I left and called 15 mins later and someone answered saying they left to run next door to return an incorrectly delivered package. So he closed the shop for 30+ minutes?!
Now it’s 10:12 am the next day, they open at 10:00am and the door is locked with the lights off. Me and another customer are locked outside and I cant collect my purchase now after two attempts and 45 mins of my time wasted.
I just got a call at 10:25 from what must be the clerk’s cell phone saying he got a missed call without announcing where he’s calling from. I had to ask who was calling and he told me he’s from this shop. He told me he’d be there in five minutes (so 30 mins after the shop’s posted hours and what Amazon has listed). And they also take a lunch break I learned. So there’s really no way to know when somebody would be here for the store service or an Amazon pick up. There has to be some sort of agreement with Amazon that they will maintain regular hours, right? Otherwise the whole Amazon locker service is useless.
I got there maybe 20 mins after being told they’d be open in 5 and AGAIN the door is locked. I called again and heard a phone ringing and saw a man and a boy coming up the block. The clerk (maybe owner?) had locked up to take out the trash, he said. This shop seems like a seriously unreliable mess.
Definitely don’t send you packages here. Or rely on them being open for...
Read moreHonestly, I'm not sure if I had a good experience or bad one, I just know I called the week prior to let them know I was going to be coming in Thursday with my Google pixel, upon taking my deposit they then had to order the part, which was lost in FedEx, and was told my phone wouldn't be repaired until Monday. I found 3 places that already had the part and after walking in the rain I not only realized my broken phone was just sitting in the back open face for 2 days with the battery dying. I got my phone and got it repaired same day, they even charged my phone up but who has an extra 280 to be throwing around especially when you already paid 140 dollars, a refund im still...
Read moreAfter hours on the phone troubleshooting with customer support and visiting three different phone repair stores, this was the first store that was able to do anything productive with my haywire phone. He ruled out a ton of issues and worked on the phone for the better part of a week. Ultimately, he was not able to fix my phone, but at this point, I don't think anyone could have fixed it. Because he did not get my phone working, he did not charge me a dime. Hours of troubleshooting, ordering new parts, working with the phone - all free of charge. Very generous store owner and very easy...
