Well before my husband proposed I had made sure that he was aware that I wanted a ring that was beautiful, unique, and (most importantly) a quality piece of jewelry from a reputable local jeweler. After a few visits over a couple of years to “just look” at rings by myself, I knew that Midtown Diamonds would be the right place for my then boyfriend to embark on his journey of engagement ring shopping. The proposal eventually happened, and my husband (along with Erik’s help) gave me a beautiful, custom engagement ring. The ring itself is amazing! Plus, I have gotten dozens of compliments from friends, family, coworkers, and even strangers.

As we approached our wedding date, my husband and I met with Erik a few times to decide on wedding bands. I was so unsure what I wanted for my own wedding band, but Erik had no problem with my back and forth design ideas. Ultimately, I settled on a simple rose gold band. My husband’s band is complimentary to mine thanks to Erik’s mind for design. My husband’s band is white gold with a rose gold inlay to match my ring exactly. When we picked up the rings Erik explained that the center of my husband’s ring and my ring are literally the same ring. The pairing is adorable while also having a sentimental meaning.

It’s not often you have a “Best Day”, today, my day was better than best, it is possible! I wanted to remake my original wedding ring using my original diamonds and possibly purchasing an additional diamond, I did both. Erik was absolutely spot on helping me pick the perfect additional diamond for the vision I had in mind for my ring. I also wanted a more modern design, Erik helped me find a beautiful design which he then modified to create my dream ring. I am absolutely thrilled, and knowing that this will be unique unto me, well, it doesn’t get much better...until it does. Erik also helped me update another modern ring I had by incorporating one of the diamonds from my original ring. I also had a couple of repairs on other rings that he did beautifully.
