UPDATE TO POST - 2 MONTHS LATER - SKIN DAMAGE CONTINUES TO IMPROVE!!

I just went back to Debbie at MarElyse about 2 months after my original treatment.

Since my first treatment, my skin condition has improved TREMENDOUSLY. The treatments she performed at our original session (HALO and BBL) really helped me skin damage, fine lines, and melasma. My treatment was 2 months ago and my face continues to look younger and more youthful. I have also been following the daily regimen she recommended for me. The combination of the Halo/BBL with the daily regimen has been working wonders!

Yesterday, I had a similar experience to my first treatment session. Both Missie and Debbie were incredibly professional and knowledgeable. They explained why they wanted to do another BBL and even cited the research from Vanderbilt and Stanford that supports their recommendations!!! Talk about someone who is SMART and knows how to treat patients and get amazing results. They also make you feel like family when you are there. They talk to everyone politely and are genuinely interested in helping improve your skin condition.

I am extremely self conscious about the skin damage from the sun and melasma on my face, especially since it was so noticeable. Now it is hardly noticeable and continues to improve each day/week. As a result, my self-confidence has really improved.

I couldn't recommend them more highly. They know their science.. Their treatments work because they know the science behind the treatments. And they don't force you to buy products or waste your money. I was considering one treatment but she said that would be a waste of money and to do a BBL treatment (which was actually cheaper) .

I will continue to go to them and have recommended family and friends to them as well.

I had a great experience at MarElyse Medispa and I’d like to tell you why. Let me start by saying, if you are interested in a quality, non-surgical approach to addressing your skin and overall appearance with an affordable price tag, then you need to visit with Debbie. Whether it matters or not, I am the wife of a plastic surgeon and we recently relocated to the area. Since my husband‘s office is not currently offering non-surgical procedures, I was on the hunt for a quality MediSpa. I have had my fair share of non-surgical cosmetic treatments/procedures and have access to the “behind the scenes.” So as I began discussing my needs with different aestheticians, it didn’t take me long to figure out who would benefit most from the proposed treatments being promoted, which is not uncommon in the world of cosmetics. Conversely, my initial consultation and subsequent treatment with MarElyse was not a smoke and mirrors approach. Although they don’t offer everything, they stay in their lane and what they do offer, they do it well. Their equipment is new generation, spot on and I experienced a 2 out of 10 on the “pain scale”. It is true that the office is petite and straight forward, but it was refreshing not to be up-charged for a big, flashy experience. Debbie is quite knowledgeable and thorough. Debbie is simply the best -- in the St. Louis area, for sure, and beyond. I have been to at least five other local med spas and haven't had nearly as good an experience as I've had at MarElyse. I started going for rosacea laser treatments as part of the Forever Young BBL treatments, which I do 3-4 times per year. Boy, what a difference it has made -- alongside the basics, of course: healthy diet, exercise, good sleep, skincare and SPF every day, rain or shine. But even with all of that, I still had residual sun damage, broken capillaries, brown spots, etc. Consistent Forever Young BBL treatments have helped immensely.

Bear in mind that while laser treatments are powerful, they aren't a cure-all and you have to be patient. It can take months and several treatment to see a real difference. Debbie knows this, which is why she really takes her time with each treatment and offers reasonable pricing and packages, especially compared to what they offer and what other med spas charge for the same service. Also in terms of results with lasers, your practitioner really matters. You want someone who knows what they're doing, which Debbie absolutely does. Stick with it, you won't be disappointed! Her daughter Marissa, who works with her, is also delightful and very knowledgable. Would give 10 stars if I could! We're so lucky...
