Worth the Flight from NC! My First Botox Experience with Krista at Prick'd Med Spa in St. Louis.

Let me tell you, I don't make impulsive decisions lightly, especially when it comes to my face! But after doing my research and seeing the incredible results Krista at Prick'd Med Spa in St. Louis achieves, I knew a trip from NC was in order for my first ever Botox treatment. And let me tell you, it was SO worth it! From the moment I walked into Prick'd I was impressed. The space is absolutely immaculate – spotlessly clean and beautifully designed. It felt both professional and welcoming.

Then there's Krista. Wow. She's not just incredibly skilled; she has this amazing ability to make you feel completely comfortable and confident. She explained everything thoroughly, and I truly felt like I was in the best hands. The injection process itself was quick and virtually painless. Krista has such a gentle touch and a keen eye for detail. I could tell she was focused on achieving natural-looking results, which was exactly what I wanted. Beyond the exceptional service and skill, the entire vibe at Prick'd is fantastic. It's clear that this is a team of straight-up bad ass babes who are passionate about making women feel amazing. There's a palpable energy of empowerment and positivity that's truly infectious. I have so many negative things to say about this place, but I waited to share my experience since they were my first with lip filler. After seeing someone else, I can safely say I will never be repeating prickd again. I came in to receive lip filler and my first appointment went ok. They numbed me and gave me something to spit out the numbing solution, but I was numb for over a week after the injections. It really concerned me because everywhere I heard that is way too long to remain numb after lip filler. In addition to that, I had purple bruises that lasted awhile and lumps that looked unattractive. The second time I visited prickd, they barely numbed me and I felt the entire lip filler procedure. In addition to that, the numbing they gave me the second time, they made me swallow and didn’t give me a cup to spit out. The numbing solution made me feel super sick and I was pretty disgusted. The bed side manner also of these people are terrible. She was always on her phone and had an attitude. I mentioned the lumps and she “dissolved” them but weeks later the lumps never dissipated and still looked bad. She mentioned I needed to massage my lips after a certain point, but I swear she nicked some nerve because I was in extreme pain where the major bruising was and it took a solid week for the pain to subside enough for me to comfortably massage my lips. I spent over a year looking for an injector that had a great deal of experience and could deliver the results I was hoping for. I struck out a few times with other injectors—the work just wasn’t right and didn’t do much to improve my overall look. After being referred to Krista by a plastic surgeon I trust I can honestly say that I am floored not only by my results, but by Krista’s attention to the very last detail.
