So this is the second time we’ve been, I absolutely hated it the first time but wanted to try again. The first time we came we got put on Lane 32 that was broken and wasted half of our game. We finally got moved after complaining three different times, and which we got to finish a few rounds and my score had been entirely mutilated because I kept getting 0’s where it was broken. I also had popped my wrist out of place as I have medical issues and couldn’t find a ball lighter than an 8. So, after we lost all of our game, he asked if we wanted to play again and I said no because we lost most of our game and it was a waste of money and it was no fun. Anyways, we just came back tonight and again I can bowl but due to medical issues I need lighter balls to keep my wrist from swelling or popping out of place. When we arrived, we asked if I could get a lighter ball to which the worker rudely replied the 8’s were at the end and we asked if they had anything lighter such as a 6. He then said that my fingers were going to be too big and I said well I wear a ring size 4 and have smaller hands and fragile joints. The only response we got was if you want to play, play with the eight, we aren’t allowed to give the lighter balls to adults. Needless to say, if you have medical issues don’t come here. I love bowling and I hate that the only bowling place in Richmond is terrible and the customer service is terrible. I hate complaining, but I don’t understand why it matters if I use a lighter ball than most adults if that’s allows me to have fun. If they had my ball, we would probably be here all the time because I adore bowling, but sadly they are rude and inconsiderate so I don’t know if I will...
Read moreHad a pretty bad experience here this past weekend. We went to Galaxy on Sunday. The prices were good with discounted rates for each game, but it was hardly worth it. It took almost an hour just to get in the door and pay. There was a crowd at the door and only 2 people working. One was at the front register where you pay and pick up shoes. One was at the concession area. The staff was VERY slow and although there were lots of customers waiting, did not seem to make any effort to move the line along. Went to the snack bar just to get a drink and waited in line for 45 minutes. Tickets were backed up all the way down the counter and people were waiting over an hour for their orders. We did not order out of the kitchen and still had to wait an enormously long time just to get a soda. When I went to the counter to add an extra game for our group, I was refused. Overall not a great experience. Too bad... I was hoping to have fun, but instead ended up irritated and...
Read moreI had my son's 115h birthday party here this past Saturday. I paid $250 for a 2 hour party, 4 lanes to bowl on, 4 pizzas, unlimited drinks, a $10 gift card, party favors for the guests and 240 tokens to split with the guest. The party was from 12:30-2:30. Around 1:45 pizzas has not been brought to us. I go up to the counter to ask about them.. He says you were supposed to place and order for them.. Well no one told me that.. We did finally get the pizzas. We never did get the $10 gift card or the party favors.. When I went up to the counter to return shows at the end of party there was 2 kids that has asked him to come out the bumpers up for their lane and he flat out told them that he was busy and that was to much trouble. They dropped their heads and walked away.. There was a total of 3 people I saw working that afternoon and it was pretty packed with multiple parties.. Mayebe they should hire some more polite people to work. We will...
