I’m never one to write reviews but I was absolutely disgusted at the way I was treated here. I was needing some picture frames to finish a redecorating project before the weekend ended and Hobby Lobby ended up being closed so me and my boyfriend came here instead, found the frame section and proceeded with finding correct sizes, we had around 6-8 large frames already in tow which we obviously fully intended on purchasing, and after tearing a piece of plastic off the frame to feel if the material was plastic or wood, a disgruntled employee appears as if they had specifically been watching us. She stated we can’t do that and she would need to have the frame rewrapped even after apologizing, explaining the situation, and that we were still going to purchase it. This was enough for me to just leave and wait for Hobby Lobby to be open on Monday, but apparently they weren’t sufficient with their terrible customer service yet, because we had a manager waiting at the door to SCREAM at us about how she “knows what we’re doing” and to “never come back in.” I attempted to de-escalate, apologize, explain, ask her what she figured we were doing.. to no avail. She continued her tantrum and couldn’t possibly believe we just didn’t want to spend money at their store for feeling clearly targeted because I’m heavily tattooed and had loungy, dark clothes on. Not sure if this manager was the same “Nita” that other reviewers have had issues with, but she was older and had a blonde blunt bob with bangs and she’s for sure going to get what she wished for. If anybody wants my rewards account I will absolutely never be stepping foot near this place or any of their awful employees ever again. How do you go about treating strangers like that and still feel okay about yourself? Update: I did find her on Facebook and can confirm it was Nita 👍 this woman needs to retire if she’s really going about customer relations this horribly and as often as the reviews...
Read moreLove Michaels crafting store—and any crafting store for that matter! I like Hobby Libby better because they have more options/wider variety of crafting things. But I love that Micheals is open 7 days a week, as opposed to H.L.
I’ve only visited this store three times in my life. The last two times being more recent. As I live almost an hour away, I always seem to get here close to closing with usually Only an hour-two to browse. That’s nothing for a crafter in a crafting store!! The store doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic it seems at the end of the workday. Perhaps that’s why they seem to get irritated with those of us that shop until they shut it down. I’m not sure but as they close at NINE o’clock, not 10-midnight, I really don’t see there being an excuse to be impatient or rude with customers that are in there shopping when the clock hits 9. Be kind. Always....
Read moreAlot of the craft needs can be met here however they are way above affordable price ranges .items thst should be 1 to 3 dollars are 7 to 10 Dollars or if its priced at 35 to 45 its actuslly about a 22. to 24. kinda item . To expensive to be creative much esp for kuds and school or group ,church or privite projects . My guess is mist their business is tsrgeted at elderly people who have hobbies snd decent retirement checks or nursing homes th as t do crafts at ithers expence snd use them for a taX write off . Great store well supplied just not affordable to the middle or lower class is how i personally see it. If prices was cut in half they would do 10 times the business i...
