We love BWW’s and literally eat at every location , but Richmond Ky is not one. We arrived as a party of four waiting for a table to enjoy our dinner for my brothers birthday. Not only have I been a waitress myself but my sister in law actually works at BWW at a different location so needless to say I know how it works. As we wait for our table a party of two arrives behind us. As we are sitting there the young hostess comes up to grab the next party that needs to be seated. Instead of seating us she sits the customers whom walked in behind us first while she is staring right us. So we stand to watch her put them at a table for four and can’t help but to instantly get a little frustrated. The hostess so knew that we was ahead and stared right at all of us before seating the couple. Obviously we wasn’t happy so you could tell they hurried to “Dump” us at a table. They placed our party of four at a table with three chairs so we ended up having to steal a chair from another table just to sit while the table was super sticky. We literally sat there for so long we almost left because it took almost 30 mins for someone to even come up to us for drinks. When the waitress approached our table she was very happy with a good positive energy so we decided to stay. We ordered our appetizers and our food the moment she came back with our drinks due to sitting there so long we already knew what we wanted. When the waitress took our order I made sure to tell her multiple times what I wanted because the music and tv was so obnoxiously loud I felt like I had to scream everything to her. Our appetizer arrived first by a young gentleman and was very good. As we finish the appetizers and wait for our food the whole table needed refills. What was so frustrating was our waitress past us multiple times and never offered drink until later. The place was packed out for the game and almost every waitress/waiter I seen was super busy. Expect ours. We all four watched her stand towards the back Laughing and talking while we all four was sitting there needing refills. I’m guessing they was flirting with some guy because our waitress and another waitress would go back and forwards to ONE table , and then we’d watch the two waitresses go to the back of the restaurant, stare at the dude and stand there and talk about it while laughing. It was so frustrating. So needless to say when my order came out wrong I was past the point of done at this time. I’m not the type to cause problems because I have literally been there in her shoes so most of the time I’ll just pay for it anyways give it to my husband and then buy me something else when leaving. However, the gentleman who brought our food out was very nice and very apologetic for the wrong order. Our waitress finally comes up to us and ask if everything is okay, while I told her my order was wrong, she completely acted like it wasn’t a big deal and left again in a hurry. When my food was brought out a second time , I almost thought it was a joke. My pattie for my burger was super small, look burnt (mostly black), and WAS COLD. How do you bring fresh food out cold? Like you just had to remake it for me cause my order was wrong , right? So how is ir cold if you just didn’t give me something that was already sitting back there. If my customers orders was wrong I made sure that it was fixed, hot and fresh to their liking, and they was at least satisfied with my abiltiy to do the best I can to fix the problem. Wasn’t like that at all. By this time my husband is frustrated he got up to speak to the manager and I followed. As I’m telling him what’s going on the waitress interrupts , because of course she’s standing right there at the front talking to the whole party of waitresses standing there right alone with the manager. She’s talking like she did all she could do for us like we was a complicated case knowing good and well I sat right there and watched her stand in the back laughing and talking. I honestly felt bad for the manager: he didn’t see what all happen like I did but the...
Read moreWe have a bad experience every time we come here. Tonight has been exceptionally bad. We come in and are seated at a table (we prefer booths but none of their vacant booths had been cleared and we were never asked our preference). The table has a slimy feeling and our menus are obviously disgusting with greasy prints all over them (this is something I often overlook, especially eating toward the end of the day). We ordered a tailgate sampler to share (onion rings, cheese sticks, boneless wings, and nachos). We get our food and everything is good except the wings. They are cold and have been "sauced" for so long the breading is soggy and falling off. The waiter brings us refills and asks how the food is and as lance begins to tell him the wings are cold he walks away from us (in mid sentence) to go to the table of pretty girls behind us. He doesn't come back for 15 minutes. Both of our drinks are empty at this point and have been for some time. Lance just asks for the check and he gives it to us in less than 2 minutes. Comes back less than 2 minutes later and clears our leftovers without any indication from us we didn't want them. (We had only touched 2 of our wings because they were gross, and he dumped all the leftover sauces on them before we could react, so there went 6 very overpriced wings to the trash.) He then disappears doesn't come back for over 5 minutes to get the check. This is most definitely the last time we will be...
Read moreTo start this is the only review I have ever written. I’ve been to this location 7 different times since I moved to Richmond a year ago. I mistakingly took my partner and gave this establishment its 7th chance today. We were seated quickly, but waited at least 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Our food took around 20 minutes and was a complete disappointment.
My wings had very little sauce (some had none), cold, and dry. My mac and cheese was sort of gray and jelly like on the bottom with the top layer being hard. Almost as if it had been microwaved for too long, then left out to get cold (microwaving would be fine as long as it was appetizing!). My partner ordered a patty melt with pickles and ranch on the side. The pickles were never brought and the ranch was requested twice and also never brought. Our food arrived without silverware and we were eventually given plastic-ware.
I would have liked to speak up about our food at least, but our server only visited us a total of 4 times within our hour and 15 minute visit, and we grew tired of waiting at that point. The service was lackluster and the food wasn’t appetizing. I’ve had a similar experience the previous 6 times giving it the benefit of the doubt. I know there are bad and busy days, but after 7 bad experiences I will never be back. I reluctantly still tipped 20% this time because I know this corporation doesn’t pay their staff a living wage. Complete waste of...
