A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Richmond

Went through the drive thru. Got 2 orders of cheese curds. Asked for marinara sauce for them. The lady at the window handed me the bags. I asked was the marinara sauce in the bag for the cheese curds. She replied yes. So I handed the kids the bags. My son says I didn’t get no marinara sauce. So I parked and walked in to get the sauce. The lady that took my order saw me walk in with the bags. Never approached me. I walked over to the side of the counter and asked her could I get 1 more marinara sauce. I said I ordered 2 cheese curds. She gets the sauce and throws it in the bag. Looks at me and says I thought you only only sauce for 1 curd. People make mistakes. But the way she said it she was so very rude. I have been a manager in fast food. I understand working with the public is a rough job. But there was no reason for her to get an attitude over me walking back in the store for marinara sauce. Food was hot and fresh. But the rude employee...

Good maybe for the first month or so then quality tanked. Ordered a Cheeseburger Family Pack and a Kids Meal. Got a bunch of soggy fries and squished together burgers with more pickles than meat. Meat was so thin that the pickles were actually thicker. To make matters worse the meat was dried out and hard in some cases. Kids meal? Not at this A&W. They just crammed the kids burger and fries in with the rest of our stuff. What's the point of even having a Kids meal. May not matter to the staff and granted A&W doesn't have Kids toys in the kids meal but kids care if "Their Food" is in "Their bag".I'm sure A&W knew this when they put it on the menu. I haven't been here in years so some thing have changed though. I got the family deal with 6 cheeseburgers & fries... it was pretty, no serious complaint but I didn't ask for the fries to be fresh (* like hot hot, fresh out) since I was getting a pretty large meal . They weren't too much but I did not complain. The service there was very friendly my kids even acknowledged there great acts of service. Sweet ladies.

Just wish they didn't charge so much for everything thing. $2/eac for cup of water. Seriously? You can't try to make money doing silly things like that. Other than that love the atmosphere & the...
