It's a nice park for picnic. There are pickle ball courts playgrounds a couple of small trails. There are open spaces and wooded spaces to do all sorts of outside activities. Both playgrounds have been recently updated and they're very nice. Twin shelters offers lots of picnic tables and lots of cooking surfaces for big groups or many groups. There are other gazebos around the park that can offer shelter and would be great for picnicking but there are no grills by them. There are events all year round at this park. In the summer they have concerts at the Bandshell. In the winter time they do a Lights Festival and ice sculptures. There is plenty of parking all over and the park is very wheelchair accessible. The tree playhouse had the top completely removed and set on the ground beside it. The climbing structurea are missing things or are worn so it's dangerous. The spinning pole things don't turn. The trees used to have grass around them but now its covered in that rubber stuff. The sandbox has very little sand.
