The selection of clothes is good. However the process for consigning clothes is horrible! Itās hard to consider a business professional when you donāt exchange paperwork of some sort (even an email) to confirm the initial transaction. I was ātoldā my number after only 7 items of 20 were selected and 0/15 shoes. After no communication for about 45 days I called to check status. Was told incorrect info by a teenager working that my clothes had been donated to the store. When I questioned that, she retracted that. I asked if I could just come get my items and she said yes. Within 3 minutes, the owner calls back very rudely to say if I chose to pick them up prior to the 90 days I would have to pay a penalty. Yes. A penalty to take MY clothes back. So I chose to leave them until day 87 without paying. When I got there to get them, she printed a page with my items listed (first paperwork Iāve seen) and told me to go find the items from the floor with a yellow tag. Yes. I had to search for them. When I asked if there were rhyme or reason for color of tags she said no. And I would know my items better than she would. I found my first item with a green tag so I asked if she was sure. She then said āoh your things havenāt been marked down yet so yes it would be greenā. After 90 days, Iām assuming things are marked down and ādonatedā to the store where they get all proceeds instead of a percentage. After gathering my 7 items, she took them off hangers and handed them to me as is. No bag. No nothing. I get it. All that to say- take your clothes to another consignment store. My experience was not a good one. Iāll take my chance in a garage sale or better yet, donating to the womenās shelter. At least Iāll get proof of drop off with a tax receipt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThey deserve no stars, but apparently I have to click 1 to be able to leave a review. Do not use them for consignment! I brought in practically brand new Lane Bryant clothes, and after my 90 days they informed me I had no record of my clothes, no money, nothing. The owner gave me the run around about everything I asked her. I even found one of my items for sale on their Facebook page, left a comment that said this is mine, why is this listed and under who's name is it since I was told there was no record of my stuff, with no response! The only good thing that came out of it was she mailed me a check for $90 ($3 an item, which is awful considering what I paid for those items) I wonder who got all my money...so disappointing and unfair. I could have sold all those clothes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOwner (Debbie was her name) was extremely rude and was profiling my husband and I when we came in for our first ever visit. Iām new to the area so Iāve been visiting all of the locally owned thrift stores to try and find my go-tos. Will never step foot in this establishment again. There are much kinder and friendly owners to support in the area than this one. Would much rather support Goodwill than this...
