( would had been a great fan made commercial for a dentist office advertising for root canals/abcess tooth removal )Waitress asked if I wanted the bake potatoe loaded and I said just put extras on the side so if I decide I want it or I'd take it home for the doggies, steak was dried and overcooked and had no flavor at all like was chewing on rubber. Salad looked like was made from leftovers from someone who didn't eat but half and I got the other half in a very small bowl, rolls were cold and small, place was very loud ,staff was having more fun than should at work laughing and singing and dancing like was a bachelor party down off of Davis Street in Lindale, would had been a great fan made commercial for a dentist office advertising for root canals/abcess tooth removal contractors,,, well I was charged extra for the loaded potatoe that the Waitress asked if I'd like it loaded implying that it came with it no extra charge was around 2 dollars, imagine a table of 6 that this would happen too and everyone who never noticed it happned too ,that's 2k extra per night that is stolen from the customers who trusts thier debit card information with when paying so if these places will have thier staff slide in a "would you like that bake potatoe Loaded" in on every one and hope we don't notice imagine what they will do if given the thance like charge our debit card twice for the same order and if noticed oh were sorry let us fix this type response, but I did ask both the Waitress and management why do you imply that its a option to have or not at no additional charge ,train the staff these little techniques of stealing millions and trillions from all over the world chain companies, its small details like this as an example that show this generation and this way of life is way off course than what it was in the 1950s way of life. So the last 3 times I tried to give another chance I was disappointed, and I really love this restaurant name and idea of greatness because the 1st time I visited grand opening was a super great experience and 2nd time also and the management was superb but when he left and the newness was nomore the people's reviews are most like negatively responses. I'd love to have my restore of faith in this place again because I miss eating there but unless I get a free meal to try and see if it could be great again for a chance of redemption I believe burger King will be way better of an experience. So guess I'm finished with this review and with this restaurant and I'll prove to all about the loaded potatoe and the extra cash charge to all and our thoughts and feelings don't matter not one bit to these big corporations because ive not seen not one unsatisfied customer who spent thier hard earned money given any type of meal voucher to try to redeem the name reputation sake or the thousands of unsatisfied customers, the mighty dollar holds more statue than we as people do nowadays to Texas Roadhouse because of small things like these done to us as people with no recourse for the restaurant and staff or management. So the near two dollar cost for the would I like my bake potatoeloaded that the management refused to take off my bill ,and I plainly explained I was gonna leave a review about this and she said that's fine lit a 🔥 under my stovehouse and it's been about 3 months since that I'm just now leaving a review I needed to cool off so id be nice. Back to the prove to the world we don't matter and these reviews don't matter to this place because they won't give not one free meal to thier customers who had a bad experience because they value money more than a 70 year old veterans thoughts...
Read moreMy husband placed a to go order on March 31 at 6:30, although the tickets are showing 6:40 and 6:42. At first, he had to be transferred to someone who could help us and that took about 2 minutes. When the young lady answered, she took his information and our orders.
My husband ordered a single pork chop with cream gravy, a baked potato and a house salad. My order was beef tips with rice, onions and mushrooms and brown gravy along with a house salad. In the to go menu, it clearly states brown gravy is included. She said, she would have to check on the brown gravy because it is not included and put my husband on hold, came back and asked would I like a bowl of brown gravy because it is not included in the meal itself. The answer was yes.
During the time of placing the orders, she put my husband on hold at least twice and possibly three times. She did not seem very comfortable taking the orders because she said, I'll be right back and left him waiting for a two minute interval each time.
She said the orders would be ready at 7:15 so my husband drove to Texas Roadhouse and parked and followed through with texting to let someone know, he had arrived and was waiting. The orders was brought to our SUV and my husband proceeded to drive off.
At the traffic light at the intersection, he received a phone call telling him to come back because they had forgotten to include the salads. My husband has to find a place to turn around, get in all that traffic once again and go back, park and call one more time in order to get the salads.
At home, it was now, 7:50pm and we ate our salads and as we opened our entrees, I discovered, there was no brown gravy or rice, even though, on one of the tickets, at the top of the page, it was written in pink, rice with an exclamation point. There was nothing on any of the tickets either about gravy even though, the young lady who took the order made it a point to make sure I wanted the gravy.
My husband called the restaurant and asked to speak to a manager and the phone call took 10 minutes because he had to be transferred. The manager apologized and asked would he like those items and the answer was yes. My husband drives back to Texas Roadhouse which is about 15 minutes from our home and parks and calls when he is there. He had to wait about 10 minutes and called once again and spoke to a manager and finally the missing food items were brought to our SUV.
Another 15 minutes was spent driving home and my husband and I finally were eating our entrees at 8:45pm, Friday night. We also had to reheat our food because it was now cold.
This was totally unacceptable service. Not only that, it was my husband's birthday. We would have dined in, however, I am quite sick right now. This has been the worst service we have ever received at any...
Read moreThis is my 1st 5star restaurant review. Upon entering you felt like you was in a bar in Texas. The wait staff was line dancing. People were smiling and laughing. The booths had plexiglass dividers for safety. It was clean and organized. Ppl love the tradition of peanut shells on the floor. Our server was very knowledgeable on the menu items. When we were seated we immediately had a basket of bread and cinnamon butter at our table and it wasn't long before our server was there. They offered specials through a barcode scanner or you as a VIP member (which by the way is free to join on their website) also had specials that way. I ordered the beef tips and it was a hearty helping that I actually was able to take half home and eat again for dinner that night. Wow, it was the most tender steak I have ever ate. Not one bad thing to say about the quality of the food. My mom ordered the chop steak and as soon as she took her first bite she didn't speak another word until she was finished & if something can make her not talk it must have been that good. It was her birthday so we ordered a drink apiece from the bar and the bartender was very friendly and fun. I was so impressed overall by this place that I cannot wait to go again and again. For a second I forgot I was in Rome Georgia and I was transported to a honky tonk in Dallas. The price was moderate. You can order something more affordable or you could upgrade to the biggest steak they have that ran about $30. There is something for everyone. The appetizers we got was boneless chicken wings fried pickles and potato wedges with cheese and bacon and that in itself could have filled us up with the complimentary bread they gave us. You will not leave this place still hungry or wanting more, actually it was the opposite. We had more than enough food that we carried over to dinner. I advise you call ahead and get on the waitlist especially if it is a weekend night. We waited about 20 minutes at 4 p.m. on a Thursday, But they do text your phone when your table is ready in case you want to run next door to Five Below or Dollar Tree. So you aren't tethered in that parking lot for the wait. I really like that because I had time to run a couple of errands before going back when I was called for my table. I have nothing negative to say about this place and I hope that it stays in business for years to come! We needed a place like this in Rome that is just all about fun. Especially in the times we are living in. Another menu item that I should mention is they do have kids meals and also an upgrade to a kid's meal is Ranger meals which is for older kids and the portions are bigger. Those are very affordable. And so my advice is go and try it for yourself and you will see how great this place is! I will be a customer for life!...
