Just waited 10 minutes in line and had the opportunity to watch every other lane empty out several times. Unfortunately for me I had already placed my heavy items on the belt and did not think it would take so long to help one customer in front of me. Of course I was wrong clearly. The cashier, Hanna, rung up the customer incorrectly. Granted it was a very difficult transaction. The customer was using a variety of payment options and large bills to pay for her purchase. Not easy for just any cashier, and obviously not easy for Hanna who had to get help with her mistake and left her register for around 2-3 minutes. When she came back with help they had to redo the entire order. Of course I’m here watching everyone else get rung up quickly and easily and leave. But not me. No I’m watching her explain the issue to the customer, her coworkers, and apologize to That customer profusely. Of course none of this registers to her to have any sense of urgency ringing up the customer a second time. Or to stop her from regaling the next cashier about her mistake with a wide smile. Slow and steady wins the race I suppose especially when others are waiting with perishable food items. After finally finishing the transaction she left and the next cashier finished the customers partner who also was apologized for the wait. Finally after over 10 minutes the new cashier greets me like she’s tired of the world and in no mood for customer service. She proceeds to ring me up as if I hadn’t been waiting for ever when she knew full well that I had been and the issue with the previous cashier. No apologies for my unnecessary and unwarranted wait time. So I decided to ask her for the previous cashiers name. She says and I quote “why?” Not my question. I ask again for her name “it’s Hanna. Why. Did something happen?” Yes, Emily, you’re fully aware what happened as Hanna told you with a wide grin of her mistake. I let her know of my wait and she said again I quote “there was an issue” with a sour look. That sounds like it’s not my fault. And the least any one with a shred of customer service could do is apologize for the wait time. But that was beyond Emily. So I let her know what poor customer service they had both exhibited and finally left. Needless to say this was an extremely frustrating and unnecessary experience compounded by a lack of empathy and professionalism from both...
Read moreI came in once and the lines were crazy, but that's not what this review is about. Usually, I use self check-out but the line for self check-out was twice the size of the line at the registers, so I decided to go in line for a register.
After waiting in line, I was the next in line after a current customer being rung up. The cashier told me that his coworker was opening up and I could go there to get rung up. Okay cool, I did so but was stopped by the cashier I was referred to to be told that she already picked some customer to ring out and I was gonna have to wait. Cool, I'll wait.
Apparently the customer she picked out had a huge cart and I only had 4 items, but whatever, I was already in her line. I look back at the line I was originally at before I was directed to this cashier, and saw that the original cashier I went to was ringing up someone who was way after me, but alas I chose to just keep waiting.
After the current cashier finished up, it was finally my turn! She wasn't friendly at all, and on top of that, when I asked her if she had any reusable Target bags, she tells me that she was going to ask if I wanted one. Turns out she was referring to the plastic bags at the registers and not the reusable Target tote bag that I was talking about, but I already wasted my time in her line (that I was directed to go to even though I was fine waiting in the previous line), and I was...
Read morecredit waiting times for in store pickup! I came in, there was no line but there were two people sitting on the side, I gave the rep my name and she looked up my name, wrote something down and gave it to a guy. Twenty minutes later, one of the ladies left out of frustration, the second one complained loudly and a few minutes later her one box of diapers appeared and then a rep asks for my name and says she'll get my order now... Wth? Twenty minutes later, they had my name, they either couldn't help or didn't help the people waiting and they weren't even helping me! Wow... It's almost thirty minutes now and apparently some of my order was already in the front desk? ... Let me see what they're saying. OK, someone is looking for my stuff in back still. Items for a different lady, that came in but they couldn't find her items and they had no extra in stock, were up here and a different rep was aware of the items hiding in the corner. One rep here says she thinks the site pickup promo was a horrible idea because now there are much more irritated customers. 40 minutes now... Still waiting... 50 minutes later and most of my order is here now! All but one... They have me 6$ of credit in the form of vouchers and a $5 off of $50! Horrible. $5/$50 is...
