Dr. Chan seems like a nice guy but Iām giving a 1 star due to the operations of this place. It took 3 long weeks to receive my TRIAL contacts, not even my supply for the year. Iāve been using contacts for over 10 years and Iāve never had to wait that long for trial contacts. I had to wear my old contacts for an extra 3 weeks rather than receiving the trial contacts the day of the first appointment. And if youāve ever worn contacts longer than youāre supposed, you know it can be painful. Iām not sure this was Dr Chanās fault but more the fault of the person running the place. If you see youāre out of stock on an item you are known to sell, it is wise to order more immediately rather than wait until a customer needs it. Seems pretty cheap on the business part. Anyway, that was only half of the reason why I had a 1 star experience. When I was told they were out of stock on my pair of contacts, Dr Chan said usually takes 1-2 weeks to arrive and from my experience usually should take 1 week to arrive but it took THREE. Iām almost certain this was not a shipping issue from their supplier, I believe someone forgot to place the order or messed up until I called after 2 weeks to see where my contacts are. They couldnāt even give me a estimated arrival when I called. And the other reason why Iām certain this was not a shipping issue is because I had a friend get their contacts recently at a different location and they got their trial contacts and 6 month supply in about a week. How can Target Optical compete with other competitors when it takes weeks to get your contacts? Anyway, Iām not blaming Dr Chan, he just needs to find a better owner/manager for the place because they clearly cannot run a business. This is my first and last...

Decided to come in store for help and Estie came to the rescue, helped me call target online to cancel orders right away to release my insurance benefits. Despite scheduling my appointment in advance, they were unable to see me for my actual eye exam due to being backed up. I had an engagement later in the day and couldn't wait. I had to use my old prescription that was about to expire.
To make matters worse, it took almost an entire month for my glasses to arrive. This was extremely inconvenient and I felt like I was constantly chasing them for updates. I was extremely dissatisfied with the entire process and the lack of communication from the staff.
I would not recommend Target Optical to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient eye care experience. I will not be coming back and will be finding a new provider for all my future...
