This was my first time coming into this ulta since I don’t live in the area and I will say this was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in customer service. I’m more of a Sephora kind of girl but I was in need of a new loose powder and wanted to get one that was similar to the givenchy powder, I go up to one of the nearest employed by where I was and asked if they had anything similar, meanwhile she was COLORING a template for makeup, did not look up once at me while I was asking her a question or even after , and replied with a dry response with “mmmm no” Completely disregarded me and didn’t offer to show me any other products that might be of my interest or similar to what I was looking for. Keep in mind, I’m not really a full face make up, beauty guru type of girl so I’m still getting to know what products are good for my combination skin type that I have, which is why I ask questions whenever I buy products. Didn’t get the girls name, she had redish hair, that’s all I can remember but I would say she was completely rude. And to top it off, as I’m checking out, the only cashier in the front, sees that Im buying a fenty skin tint foundation, and tells me “so we’re buying foundation but not setting spray” it’s one thing to be trying to sale me something in a lovely and friendly tone but it’s another to be so monotone and have such a dry and rude energy when trying to get someone to buy setting spray. I forgot her name as well but I will say it seems like they hate their jobs.

Read moreI’ve always loved shopping at Ulta and the other times I have gone have been nothing but helpful. Unfortunately this time I went I felt really uncomfortable and I couldn’t shop. I understand checking in with customers to make sure they are taken care of to build sales it wasn’t the case this time. I felt followed through the store by an employee and constantly checked and overseen. But if this was selling technique, then they would’ve been providing the same attention to the other customers but they weren’t. It was only me who was being constantly peered over. I noticed the employee who tried helping me out talking into the microphone when I was looking around the Elf section and then other employees started walking around the section I was in. The same employee was constantly walking the aisles I was in and walking back and forth and peeking over that me. She was professional, but the tension was evident. After I was going to go check out, they went to front to get a glimpse what I ended up getting.

Read moreI went in with my boyfriend, I was shopping for things I needed to restock therefore I knew what I wanted and selected rather quickly. I was trying to ask TWO employees about A MAC product I didn’t seem to see they completely disregarded me and when one of them did answer she was so rude And said “idk you’re better off going to MAC” hmm okay. Later I ended up paying with this same girl I asked her where the travel sized Laura merrier powders were she said it would be in the middle tiers by checkout, I didn’t find them. I asked again and looked some more still wouldn’t help- with a frustrated tone she said she would look & didn’t even try to look. I was using my after pay app, I was having a bit of an issue with the payment -but her attitude was so mean and just ugly. She said she couldn’t help me and made me feel so awkward and like my purchase wasn’t relevant she grabbed the basket and stared at me. It was so uncomfortable!!!!! I felt like she was judging me and not trying to help at all. I placed my whole order for same days pickup at pico Rivera! It was a much more pleasant experience.
