Al's Billiards — Local services in Roseville

You know it's just an old school type of pool hall. They didn't serve liquor or food. They only have hedgies pizzas. I like coming here so much better than a bar with pool tables. It's just the classic scene like we grew up with as teens. The price here is great, the equipment is all in great condition, and it's a very clean facility. The only thing I can notice that's missing now compared to when I was a teen. The cigarette smoke and smell is missing. I'm fine with it missing, but it was something new to me lol. I hadn't been out to shit pool, let along go to a pool hall in like 20 years. Al is such an awesome guy. He's always there behind the desk and willing to have a conversation with you as long as you want to talk. So when you see him there, so and talk to him. Hey to know the guy behind the hall. I will always continue to go here vs the bars. The clientele that come here are all safe feeling to be around. In fact I brought my 16 year old daughter here knowing it was a safe place for her to be. The whole time I felt that she was safe there. I go by my Middle Name Sadat and I have been shooting at Al's Billiards since September of 2004.There is not enough words or Paragraphs I can describe my experience to make it short it's the Best Pool Hall in Twin Cities never had a bad experience shooting here for more than 20 Years and believe me I shot at every single pool Hall in Twincities atleast a half a dozen Times no one compares to Al's Billiards simply it's the Best Place to shoot specially for Sober community and all other people in General All are Always wellcome by Al's Billiards whether you come Across Lovely Mary or Emmett Al's son and ofcourse Al himself is a Generous and a very Kind man who is there himself every day of the week serving people not only all the pool shooters but also all the Dart Lovers.Anyone goes to Al's will Always hit a Bullseye whether you win or Loose you will have a Great Time one last thing can't forget all the Great Music that you can choose to play on...

I played at Al's all through highschool. I've recently started coming back and although my game has deteriorated, Al's is unchanged. This place to could crumble to the ground and I would still give it 5 stars. There was a rumor that Al won the place in a game of nine ball.
