A horrendous excuse for customer service. Everything that could go wrong has. I used Home Depot Roseville MI for a flooring install and the issues have piled on top of each other since day one. I completely regret my decision to go through them and have requested twice now that they come remove all of this product from my home and refund every cent. I will tell every person I know to go through a different company. These issues have been happening over SIX WEEKS since my install and Home Depot has taken zero responsibility for these issues and has made no effort to resolve them. DO NOT HIRE HOME DEPOT. I have shopped at Home Depot for years and will never step foot in a HD again. I will be cancelling the credit card I have had for 10 years. Less than one week after 'completing' project in October, which I never signed off on, floor was bubbling near doorway. I also started asking why the stairs were installed with quarter round at the base of every stair, which was immediately scuffed up, when my quote clearly states 12 quantity metal (exactly the number of stairs). I have continued to be lied to, deceived and made false promised to rectify this situation. Customer Order Specialist Mike stated the metal on my estimate is the stair nose trim, which is completely untrue because stair nose trim is also specifically called for on the estimate. Why would the estimate have duplicates on it? Flooring Manager Barrington stated verbally on the phone that yes, the 12 qty metal was the stair base but it had a $0 cost on the estimate because it was a placeholder that should have been discussed with me and never was, so they followed the 'industry standard' and installed quarter round. Is it the customer's responsibility to review the estimate and make sure all materials are accounted for? Not to mention that I couldn't even discuss any concerns in real-time because the installer in my home and I did not speak the same language. Both Mike and Barrington initially told me it would be $104 to have the metal installed, to which I told them HD would need to cover because this was their error. One week ago Barrington told me that this metal is a special order part and now the cost is $500 which he asked me to split - which I absolutely disagreed to do. He promised to call me on Monday and it is now Thursday and I have not received any follow up. Now one week after my last conversation, Barrington has stated the cost is $800+ and again asked me to split the cost. How can the cost continue to increase? Apparently AIS is charging Home Depot labor to come back, however it's important to note that AIS left behind several quality issues which I have raised MULTIPLE TIMES to both AIS and Home Depot that need to be resolved - including using roofing nails to install my stair nose. In fact, the flooring manager at AIS himself called out the roofing nails being incorrect when I sent him photos of all my other concerns. Upon voicing this, I was asked again for a laundry list of all my concerns. Home Depot is clearly not keeping record of what is going on and is not at all concerned about the quality of a job I paid them for. The service and quality surrounding this project has been atrocious every step of the way.

My stepdad purchased two privacy fence panels for a little over $300 the other day. They were delivered today, about 45 minutes ago. It cost over $80 to have them delivered 4 miles. The 2 2x4s are uneven. One of them is all bowed out and then the actual fence panels are uneven and chipped/splinted. He called the store to figure out what the heck and to get them replaced And of course he gets the runaround. ‘You’re gonna have to bring them back to the store with your receipt and your card so we can look at them and then we will refund you and then you can schedule another delivery’. Well, if he were able to just throw them in the trunk, he would’ve purchased them at the store and saved almost $100 so of course he can’t do that. My stepfather is a 64 year-old veteran who had surgery on both rotator cuffs. He isn’t able to lift his arms above his head, so it’s either we hunt around for somebody with a big enough vehicle for two fence panels and two by fours to come and help which means he’s gonna have to spend even more money and more time just trying to get these panels back to Home Depot. This is ridiculous. I will never ever ever shop at Home Depot again and buyer beware!!! buying anything from Home Depot especially if they have to deliver it.

I had a great experience during my recent visit to the store, thanks to two standout employees—Terry in the plumbing department and Daryl at checkout. Terry was incredibly helpful in locating the exact kit I needed for my garbage disposal. He patiently answered all my questions, clearly knew his stuff, and was an absolute pleasure to speak with. It's rare to come across that level of attentiveness and professionalism. When it came time to check out, Daryl made the experience just as positive. He was kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me with what I was taking care of. It's clear he genuinely enjoys helping customers, and it made the process feel easy and appreciated. Experiences like this are exactly why I love shopping at this store. Great people, great service, every time.

It seems like every time I come here now, it's a problem. I can rarely find what I want. I seen $45 safety glasses just now. I seen the safety glasses I wanted at home Depot on line for a good price. There not in store now. On my way home I decided to save some time and have my drywall cut so I don't have to go out of my way to get a trailer. Now I have to go all the way home and get my trailer because they won't cut drywall. Everything is wildly expensive at home Depot. The hardware industry is the reason America is so reliant on China. If we didn't have China competing with them wood would cost more then gold. Why do these hardware companies want to rob us blind? I often shop home Depot and Lowe's to see what to search Amazon for. It's not like they have American made tools anyway. Almost everything they have is made in China with a huge mark up. They pretend like it's American when it's really the same product from a company with an American name. I search for things at this home Depot and regularly fail to find anything I need there. Most often I wind up finding it at harbor freight. Sadly, harbor freight is actually far superior in my experience. People used to act like harbor freight is a gamble. They're all a gamble but harbor freight is the most likely quality products. But when I fail to find several products this place thinks I'm stealing things. They'll question me or the karts wheels shut off. We simply need things and discover we can not get them from this place. You may ask why I still shop here. It's the closest place to my home. If I'm going to risk a trip with drywall I'm not prepared for I'm going to try the closest place. Even if it costs a few extra dollars. But they run me off and I have to spend the extra time. Luckily I save a...

While the folks in this store were accommodating, I'm currently in the middle of the most vile and terrible experience I've had to endure just attempting to purchase a washer/dryer. In store, the wrong type of dryer was ordered for me. When I called about the mistake, i was told this could be switched over the phone and i was advised that this was completed for me. When I received no email notification/receipt for the change, i called back and I was advised this could not be fixed and the order would have to be cancelled. I expressed concern over being blatantly lied to, but nothing came of this. While this is being cancelled, my funds for the incorrect dryer are being held until the warehouse it came from receives it back - and in the mean time I've had to pay for another dryer while I wait. I started this process in May, and now a month later, there have been FOUR deliveries missed, and several hours spent on the phone with corporate just attempting to figure out where any part of my order is at the moment. I've gotten no updates as to when my washer/dryer will be delivered, I've paid for my dryer twice and my funds have not been sent back for the company's mistake, and despite calling - corporate can't seem to get a hold of the delivery company that's supposed to be getting the appliances delivered to me. At this point it really feels like they do not intend to deliver my appliances, and I have already actively been lied to during this process twice - so ultimately it feels like thousands of dollars have been stolen from me by...
