I took an 8 year old female child out to breakfast Saturday morning after her basketball practice. After a short wait to be seated at this IHOP, we were taken to a table which had yet to be cleaned. There was a glob of butter, spilled water, and what appeared to be three coffee pots still on the table. The waitstaff who seated us said she would get someone to come clean the table shortly....After approximately five minutes she herself returned with a paper napkin and proceeded to wipe at both the butter and water while leaving the three large coffee containers in place. Going against my better judgement, I allowed myself and my small friend to wait at least 15 more minutes for a waitress to come take our orders. This waitress was apologetic enough, but when my little friend hesitated a moment whe reciting her order this waitress said, "See, that's why I served the other tables first." A totally uncalled for remark to make to a child....Our meals arrived in a fairly timely manner considering this IHOP was crowded and meals are prepared to order. The food did not taste bad. However, as I write I am regretting having eaten there and subjecting my small child friend to the food as well. I'll explain that in a moment....Midway through our breakfast my friend left the table to go to the restroom only to return a moment later. She said that the restroom was too dirty for her to use. An 8 year old said that! After we finished our meal I could not help but to notice that the fastest part of our service was when the waitress collected our bill and her tip! As we were leaving I decided to visit the Men's restroom. It too was deplorable, toilets out of service, floor a mess, and to add insult to injury there wasn't any soap or a means to dry your hands. I left out promising to never enter that restaurant again. This morning I was saddened to learn that my 8 year old friend has been throwing up. When I factor that in with the fact that I have come down with a serious bout of diarrhea I'm certain we are suffering food poisoning from that restaurant. Eat there at you own risk. It's filthy and the staff leave a lot to be desired. Save yourself, eat...

My ma also wanted to come here to see if they potentially still had the lingenberry crepes, which unfortunately were taken off the menu. To start, everything here was sticky. When we were seated, only one silverware set was brought and when our waitress introduced herself, I asked for another and put in our drink order. She came back about 4 mins later and asked us again what our drink order was since she hadn't previously written it down (me and my ma both ordered a coffee and a water). She came back with two waters, a coffee carafe, and one coffee cup. I then asked for another cup and more creme. That took another 4 mins to get. Once our food arrived (brought by a different server other than ours), my silverware set only had a knife in it so I asked for another set of silverware. I asked this new server for a new set of silverware and she proceeded to bring me PLASTIC silverware for in restaurant dining. The salt shaker was empty, there was no pepper shaker on the table, we asked for butter, syrup, pepper, and salt next. Most of these items were thrown on the table and the butter was forgotten so I had to ask yet another server for some since I hadnt seen our server in some time. Then asked for more coffee and the carafe brought back had the weakest crap ever that we couldn't even drink. Then, the food. I asked for blueberry pancakes, not the double blueberry ones and that is what was brought out to me and the blueberry topping was awful as the blueberries were shriveled up and firm so I scrapped all of it off. The eggs and bacon were the only things cooked well. The ham and hashbrowns were overcooked and burnt/dry. And my mother's toast was literally hard as a rock, unbuttered, and inedible. She left that uneaten. We are not ones to complain and send our food back for fear of something being done to it so we thought it wise to just eat what we could and decide to never come back. I remember IHOP being a great place to eat when I was a kid (only about 20 years ago) and its just gone downhill since....
Read moreI was very displeased with my experience at Ihop. I arrived at the restaurant at 7 p.m. placed my order within 10 minutes of arriving I did not receive my food until an hour later. There were two other parties in the restaurant besides my table at the time which did not make any sense for my food to come out in such a delayed manner. When my food finally arrived the waitress brought our meals out in intervals. My sister had eaten her whole meal before she'd gotten her toast and the waitress offered to give the toast to her in a to go. And my husband's pancakes came out 20 minutes after he completed his steak and eggs. We had no choice but to make a complaint with the manager on the schedule by the name of Kenya. Kenya's rebuttal to what was going on was she is sorry she knows. We then ask if something could be done for our inconvenience. She said she would see what she can do. Our original bill came to 61.50 and we had $10 taken off our overall bill. Payment was not an issue for us, what we didn't appreciate was the poor service. As we were preparing to leave the restaurant, we were pretty tired and over the whole experience and we just wanted to leave as soon as possible, we went to the register to pay for our meal. We were informed by another employee that our waitress had to cash us out, we proceeded to wait for the waitress to come and cash us out. My husband had to physically walk back and get the waitress out of the kitchen who at this point was laughing with the manager totally disregarding the fact that we were ready to go, we'd waited about 5 minutes at that point. My husband only had large bills on him at the time, our waitress proceeded to inform us that they had to get change for said bill. It took the manager an additional 10 minutes in order to get the change to cash us out for a check. I strongly advise avoiding dining at this particular establishment. I normally do not do reviews but this is an experience that I could not keep to myself thank you and have...
