UPDATE: I just received a call from the GM that I initially spoke with. Although she was nice, she informed me that the OWNER said he credited my debit card back for the overcharge back in December. I found that odd considering that we both agreed to an in-store credit. She stated that he sent her a screen shot of this transaction. WRONG! He did not credit my debit card back, I went through my bank statements from December until current and NO credit. She mentioned she didn't realize that it would take me as long as it did to come back in for the credit (2 months) I was never informed that there was a time limit, only that I would have a credit. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank. So unfortunate seeing that all this was over a burger or $8.26.
I went thru the drive-thru on December 18, 2024. I ordered 1 double Culver burger, when I got to the window to pay, the cashier took my card and ran it through and at the same time she was running it the register blanked out and from what the cashier told me, the register had to reboot. She ran my card a second time after the reboot in the amount of $8.26. Ok, fine no big deal, I had to wait a few minutes. The next day I noticed on my bank transactions that I was charged twice, again no big deal, it happens. I went up to Culver's to explain to the manager what happened, she was not willing to help me, even after explaining to her what happened and showing her I was charged twice for the same amount minutes apart. She took my information and said I would have to speak to the GM the next day. The GM never reached out to me, I had to call her. I thought the manager could take care of such a simple matter, nope! She did not have the authority, same thing with the general manager she was not willing to help me without talking to the owner, what??? Over $8.26 that I was overcharged by their establishment. Unbelievable!! Isn't part of having a "management" position to help customers in situations such as mine. I guess not. Anyways the GM called the owner and when all was said and done, to make things simple, I just offered to get a credit. I went up there tonight to get my "credit" only to go through the whole thing again. No one was aware that I had a credit and between the manager and another GM they were both unwilling to honor the credit I was promised, even after showing them I was charged twice and explaining the whole situation AGAIN! The manger knew who I was, she remembered me coming in before to clear it up, and still no help. Mind you, I'm at the drive-thru trying to clear this up, not thinking this was going to be a problem. Eventually I said I just want to talk to the owner, I dont want a credit for another burger, just my money back, there were several cars piling up behind me waiting to place their orders, all of this for what, no one could help me over a burger, terrible terrible customer service. At last, I'm waiting for the owner Jeffrey to call me, I was told by the manger she would leave the information on his desk. I think I'm just going to dispute the charge with my bank. I can promise you this, I will never go back there. All though the conversation we had about the situation did not get out of control, I mentioned leaving a review, the manger could care less, she as much said so. Jeffery, might I suggest you having a meeting with your management team, and give them a lesson on customer service because I certainly hope that you don't agree with the way I was...
Read moreWell, I'm sorry to say that this time my food was not good. My best friend took me and my daughter to Culver's for a late lunch. But it was not what we expected. We ordered three Cod sandwich meals, Chicken Tenders (8) piece and a order of cheese curds. The cod sandwiches were not cooked well and they fell apart as soon as we bit into them, they were soggy. The chicken tenders were bland and they looked like prepackaged processed breaded chicken tenders, we ordered a (8) piece only got (4) piece at first had to go back with the receipt to get the rest of the chicken tenders. We also ask for barbeque sauce, honey mustard and ranch sauce, didn't get that either. The only thing that was good was the fries and the cheese curds. The waitress wiped our table off with a soaking wet towel and left it streaked with water. I complained to the manager about our food which my best friend spent over $50.00 on and she at first wanted to offer back was a single custard dessert. But then I showed her one of the meals and she refunded $11.00 and some change. I refused the soft serve custard dessert because it was going to be made to go and I didn't want to eat it right then because I was so disappointed. Plus by the time we made it home it would've been melted. For the money we spent I was not a happy camper !!! Plus on top of that I'm diabetic and I was really...
Read moreUnfortunately a little disappointed with the evening service our last few visits. Its unfortunate because Culvers is one of the best fast food restaurants in our area, and the food is always delicious. While the food has been good, the service has been lacking. The last couple of times we've ordered, food items have been missing and once again tonight, after using the drive-thru and checking the bag, I had an item missing. I parked and walked inside to fix it. As soon as I walked in, the employees rolled their eyes and laughed to themselves when seeing I had a bag in hand. I am always very polite, I waited in line, smiled and explained that one item was missing. They took the bag from me without making any sort of eye contact, and one of the workers in the back complained about going home because they had to fix my order. I was handed my missing item, I smiled again and said 'Thankyou' to the workers which again, was met with no reply. No courtesy at all. Everyone truly seemed miserable. I understand it can get busy and maybe they are short staffed....unfortunately though, the lack of friendliness on top of the last few visits with incorrect orders, has really turned me off to returning for awhile. I'm hoping this Culver's can make some positive changes for better service like the brand and other Culvers locations...
