Diamonds Direct saved my engagement experience.
I got engaged on 8.26.23 and my fiance purchased a beautiful ring from James Allen (online). A day after engagement, the color of the diamonds on my ring just looked off. I wanted to be sure he got what he paid for so we were on our way into Jared - The Galleria of Jewelry , to double check the clarity and color of my diamonds. While waiting for Jared to open we stumbled into Diamonds Direct (since they were already open) and it was the best decision we could have made.
We spoke to Melanie about the color of the diamonds and just to double check she gave the ring to Nelson and he found a fracture in one of the diamonds. He was honest about our options and what we should do (as this was the first big piece of jewelry we've ever owned).
As we were waiting, I spotted a ring I loved that could replace the one my fiance got me. Melanie and Nelson helped us source a diamond with the exact cut and quality we wanted and even matched the price of what my prior ring was. They received the main diamond in a few days and allowed us to come in to see it in person.
We decided to send the first ring back to James Allen and buy from Diamonds Direct simply because of the integrity and personal relationship they created with us. I recieved my ring yesterday after waiting for it to be sized and it is more than I dreamed it would be.
I will be a Diamonds Direct customer for life. They are easy to communicate with. You don't feel pressured into making a purchase. They simply know their stuff and the store is gorgeous with a huge selection of jewelry.

   Read moreI contacted the store via email and began my communication. I sent a picture of what I was looking for and features that I was interested in. My wish list gave us a good starting point. When I was ready to come in, David set up our appointment and we met.
My boyfriend and I visited the store and met David. David was so kind and guided us through the entire process. My boyfriend and I had no knowledge on jewelry, rings, and diamonds. Davidâs expertise educated us on the cut, carat, color, clarity and certification. Educating us on the features was just as important as purchasing the ring. We then began to look at rings. Based off my requirements that I had originally sent in my email, David already had some samples for us to start with. That was a great start. He guided us one step at a time. My boyfriend and I were building my engagement ring. It was nice to custom the ring âtogetherâ. We both had input in the design and It had more meaning. By time we knew it, we had a full customized engagement ring. I knew that that was perfect for me.
David guided us the entire way. We could have not done that ourselves. He measured my ring size and arrived with the price. We financed through Diamond Direct which was perfect for us. Our ring will be ready in about 3 weeks.
We left the store and knew that that was a great customer experience!! David was wonderful! Iâm looking forward in coming back for my ring and working with David again.

I had to change jeweler's due to my former one being in an accident...very unfortunate; we had been going to him for almost 20 years. I wanted to add extra stones to a necklace and brought my appraisal with stone information with me so I could get same quality, size, price, etc. She asked my price point and then went to work. She (without a loop) looked at my necklace and pulled stones from the case she thought looked similar. I was impressed she nailed it perfectly...well, she actually choose stones just a bit better quality. The price was exactly what I paid at my previous jeweler. Even more impressive, there was no charge for them to create a mold that matched the setting used to hold the stones. It took about 5 weeks for the mold and necklace to be done and it looked great. Mikayla's personality and general atmosphere of the place elevated the entire experience. Everyone seemed ready and willing to help and seemed to really enjoy being there. Mikayla listened to all my lengthy explanations and annoying questions with a smile. I've gone back again for more stones which will be back in about 3-4 weeks now that they have the mold. Very pleased with everything. We even talked about future work and I saw a few items in their expansive selection that I may indulge in...
