WeDaShii — Restaurant in Sacramento

Today was my second time visiting this restaurant, and will probably be the last. Firstly, I ordered on their main website for takeout and the estimated time for pickup was around 45 minutes. I arrived, and noticed how the server, a slender lady around 5'9 with her hair in a ponytail, forgot to include one roll that wasn't listed in the receipt. I corrected her politely and she was so impatient, and kept stating that "the price of my order got more expensive due to tax" but I was pointing out that the overall price was cheaper than what I had from my online order. I asked her to double check the order and she was sarcastically apologetic about missing an item. After waiting 20 minutes for a small roll, she handed me the box with no plastic bag, after I asked if I could get a bag with it, she totally ignored me and just walked away. I had to walk up to the sushi counter and had to request one of the workers to get me a bag. Also when I asked for sriracha on the side, she snapped at me and said she already included it inside the box without even telling me after she aggressively handed the missing item to me.

I did not have a pleasant experience the first time I was at this restaurant as they didn't start my online order until I got there.

This business has a horrible asset that just ruined my experience and my desire to return to this location. The server was really unprofessional, rude, impatient, and immature. Those qualities won't get you far in life if you're trying to reach a professional job.

Overall. the portions were small, the quality of the sushi is mid, and the service is horrible. Please skip this restaurant and make your way to other sushi restaurants Sacramento...

SERVICE : is my first subject of this post because hands down they did NOT HAVE TO ACCOMMODATE MY STANGE REQUEST . However , I really wanted to try sushi after having my first experience recently and it was directly next door to our favorite Mexican food location taqueria garibaldi ... with that in mind when my husband went in to order it was completely packed so I didn't want to ask them what I asked the server . My wild request ? PLEASE CAN MY HUSBAND EAT HIS FOOD HERE ? They said it was totally fine ! How amazing is that !? We proceeded to order both the California rolls for him because he's not gonna watch me eat and I ordered the C.R.E.A.M witch was not only so very cute with all its pink glory but Also literally my new favorite sushi place ! They have such a huge section of alcohol , but maybe next time , and the ambiance is beautiful , classy with a comfort level , and romantic with a party vibe , it's literally what ever you want it to be and I am completely sold. I cannot WAIT TO COME BACK !

So for my first time ever I have almost a collaboration review , because as much as I love there next door neighbor I don't think I will ever CHOOSE AGAIN ! I'm always getting both ! WEDASHII x TAQUERIA...

We've ordered here several times with some ok, kinda pricy, but usually fresh results. Unfortunately, my family will never be eating at this establishment ever again. My husband has now been in the ER, uncontrollably vomiting, for 3 hours now, with no end in sight. He tested negative on 3 separate covid tests, so we know that has been eliminated. His illness began 30-45 minutes after eating the sashimi. Thank goodness myself and my toddler aged daughter didn't have the same food, otherwise this would be an even worse Saturday night. Upon reading the past reviews, it does appear that there is a cleanliness issue and it is currently being investigated by the food service we used. I feel terrible that it had to come to this, but seeing my husband unable to breathe for hours because he can't stop vomiting is unbearable.

This is an unacceptable situation, and it's not worth the 70$ risk. You've...
