I came here three times over the past week wile I was on vacation I wasn't as impressed with this place as some of my family was. The ice cream is kind of average. It's kind of like Pepsi it's good for a taste but you don't want to drink the whole thing. Well this ice cream is good to taste but loses its luster and the first few bites and the flavor doesn't taste the same. I tried 3 different flavors over the week my favorite was the coffee crunch but the toasted coconut had the best flavor to taste though. I did have a piece of one of their cakes and it was wonderful I revoked getting a piece of cake with a scoop of ice cream it's a better deal. The prices here run a little high and they deal only in cash. Also I'm pretty sure I was over charged the first day I went. That being said the employees and nice and friendly and will allow you to taste as many flavors as you would like.

One star due to them being closed. So very disappointed. We've been trying to make it to Cone Heads since arriving in St. Augustine. To late on Sunday, but Monday they're closed but that's OK since we were at the fort & were wiped out anyway. This G-map showed they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. So, we made plans so we could meander our way over there on Wednesday when they open but actually got they're early so we even sat there in the parking lot waiting until noon. At 11:59, I jumped out of the car only to be greeted by a sign on their front door saying they're closed "for regular cleaning and maintenance" from Nov 29th-until noon of Dec 26th! Almost month to clean and maintain. So how sad is that? What a let down. I am sorry to say there will be no cone head ice cream on this trip! 😄 šŸ¦šŸ§šŸØ

I’m not sure what makes this place world famous, but it’s a COMPLETE RIP OFF. Unfriendly staff, rude customers. Unfortunately we weren’t able to make it here h til 830PM, but we’ll waffle cones and bowls were gone (minus one with nuts), no discounts were being offered on substitutions with sugar cones, missing some flavors. Not enough seating OR employees on LABOR DAY WEEKEND to keep the place afloat…leading to those negative attitudes of the workers. Management needs to hit the drawing board. Ice cream was nothing special, could get something just as good at your local grocery store to fulfill your craving and it cost just a fraction. $20 for two ā€œwaffleā€ cones was outrageous. Save your money or go to Kilwins in downtown.

2 out of 5 stars because of small 1/2 scoops, OK but not amazing ice cream for the price, no masks, very crowded, CASH ONLY!!!

I have a family a 6 and rarely carry that much cash on me. The ice cream was OK but not amazing and at the price we paid, it should have been amazing ice cream. They are doing something right since the line was out the door. They did have a good selection of ice cream choices but you better pick choices before you get to the "scooper" because the cramped space will not allow you to look more than once. It's like a cattle gap with all the cows trying to get to the feed (ice cream) first. Once you take a step to see the next flavor, the line moves right with you and there is no going backwards. The staff is standing there with scoops in hand and don't ask to taste anything, not that the staff won't give it to you but the line will grumble behind you.

No one on the property was wearing a mask. With the Covid numbers climbing again, you would think someone working there would at least have one hanging from their ears or something. Like some of the other pictures show, there is a gaggle of people standing tightly in line to get their cold goodness.

Last thing I will say is that our scooper was giving 1/2 scoops. That may not be how all the scoopers operate but ours was sure doing it. I saw some other people walking around with...

Visited here on 7/5/24 after a very disappointing dinner where the chef overcooked my steak twice. "See my other recent reviews to see what restaurant it was" said to myself I'll go to Cone Heads and grab a couple hot dogs and be more satisfied than my dinner was and sure enough, not only were my hotdogs delicious, so was the ice cream and more so the service I received! I walked in the door, angry and in a big mood, and walked out with a huge smile on my face. The crew member who took my order was Frankie. She deserves a lot of praise for getting me out of my funk and making sure everything was done correctly. Ownership: If you're reading this, make sure you recognize Frankie, for she truly is a huge asset to your store and knows how to make sure customers are taken care of 100%. Keep up the great work, Frankie, and the rest of the staff. You guys do amazing work, and thank you for being on the front line of making us vacationers enjoy our stay in the area. I hope to visit you guys again later this summer or fall when we come back up to...

Came in on 8/25. There were two very young kids and what appeared to be a manager. The guy started taking my order and turn around without letting me finish my order. When he gave me the ice cream I said ā€œthat’s not what I ordered, you didn’t let me finish my orderā€. He said ā€œI already made it and out it next to the registerā€. I told him my order again and he seemed so annoyed and gave a big sigh and he slammed the cup down and started again. We gave the girl our card that was all punched out and asked if we can pay the difference between the small and the two scoops. The woman with the red hair (manager) started murmuring as if we weren’t there. The whole experience was so intense. We’ve been coming here and have recommended this place to several people. Never have we been treated like this. Rude and completely disrespectful. These three people do not have any right to treat customers like this. It’s the first time in our lives we didn’t leave any tip, and we’re big tippers. This was not a...
