My family and I were looking for somewhere local and different to eat after visiting the Imagine Museum in St.Pete earlier today and came across this gem. We were greeted immediately and told to sit anywhere and since it was a beautiful afternoon so we sat outside. First, the atmosphere was a breath of fresh air; the outside seating was eclectic but in a good way. There was even a couch seating area. Our waitress Kelly was extremely nice and patient. The menu was different and our teens took a minute to choose. The wait fir our order wasn’t terrible. The food was decent- my husband and I split the Full Monty, our son and daughter ordered the Little Teddy and we ordered a few appetizers- the chicken Tandoori soup, Dumplings and the potato cakes. I’d have to say while the sandwich was good, I enjoyed the potato cakes more. My daughter didn’t care for her sandwich while my son liked it. FYI : the prices on the menu are “paying with cash” prices, there is a very small up charge if paying by card- this is printed on the menu at the very top but the print is small. However, the thing we all enjoyed the most was the live jazz band that was playing- they were excellent. We will definitely come back.

I visited for dinner on 1/7/23 while in town for the weekend. Just after our food arrived at the table, the neon OPEN sign that was hanging in the window behind me fell, missing my head by 6-10 inches. The server came over to see what happened and asked if I was okay, but that was it. The manager never came to the table. The shattered neon tubing lay scattered on the floor under and behind me. And the bill came. Honestly, if I had been the server, I would have immediately gotten the manager. And if I were the manager, I would have immediately comped the meal. However, we were charged full price! Not even a 10% discount or an offer for dessert or a free round of drinks. NOTHING at all after a rather heavy object held up by what looked like a command strip nearly fell on my head while I was seated and eating my dinner. I'm not a local and I paid in cash to get the lower price, so I know I will never go back, but this was dangerous and no one (other than the other patrons) seemed to care that it could have resulted in a trip to the hospital.

Being a St. Pete resident for over 15 years I’ve been a fan of Moon underwater’s Executive chef and was really bummed when they closed their doors on Beach Drive. I also really enjoyed the sandwich concept of Pom Pom’s converted garage. Now that this place is basically both things, boy is it awesome! The menu is huge with both the curries from MUW and all the sandwich combos from Pom Poms. We finally went there and had their special of sweet chili coconut shrimp and their coconut curry special. Loved it so much we returned the next day and brought friends. My husband got their fish and chips and it’s safe to say its the best in st. Pete. They are super dog friendly, have live music and a great outside vibe with plenty of big tables and Lexi their service manager and head server is so on point, friendly and a pleasure to be served by - just phenomenal energy! Love her! Can’t say enough great things about this place - go and enjoy 🥰

I stopped by Pom Pom’s today on a whim, without checking ratings on Yelp or Google. I made a U-Turn and walked right in.

This is a very small and cozy place. I was greeted immediately by multiple staff members and was seated right away. The feel of the place is very home-like and the staff was incredibly nice. By the end my meal I had talked with every staff member, but it wasn’t pressured or the annoying, it actually made me feel like I was a regular there (even though it was my first time). They do a great job of making you feel like you’re a part of the family, which enhanced the experience.

I was assisted by a very pleasant and helpful young lady (who’s name I think was Allison?). She was smiling and offered me multiple samples of different soups, teas, etc... before ordering so that I would make the right choice. She was also very patient, kind and answered all of my questions! I ended up ordering the Arabian Mint Tea with honey (which is absolutely amazing!) and I got a vegetarian sandwich on pumpernickel bread and their noodles in peanut sauce (sandwich was yummy and the noodles were on point!$The food was really fresh and delicious and also very affordable!

I definitely recommend this place to anyone in the area. Plus, it’s very nicely located on Central Ave. so you can always walk around and check out other dessert shops and other things the area...

I can't express how much I enjoyed our lunch today. We walked in and were greeted warmly, asked if we were eating in or taking out, We choose a table and were given a sample of the tea of the day. After checking out the extensive menu, we made our choices and placed our order. My wife chose the Thanksgiving sandwich on sourdough and German potato salad. I forgot what I had ordered so when Tom, the owner asked us if it was our first time and what we had ordered, I had to admit I had no idea. I was going to order the Sexy Swine, but was worried the smoked Gouda would be too smoky so Tom had the kitchen provide me with a sample. It was not too smoky and was deliciously creamy, it will definitely be a choice next time I go, unless of course I choose the Island chicken salad which also looks amazing. I had Big Daddy's Triple Decker and was only able to eat half of it before asking for a box. I love that you can choose your bread, it make customizing your sandwich fun. I am not a tea drinker, but the blueberry with honey wasn't bad, my wife loved it and it comes with free refills. We took a tea infused creme brulee to go and it made it as far as the car, amazing! Thank you Tom and staff for making our lunch fantastic! We live about 30 minutes away if traffic is light, but even if traffic is heavy it is...
