I witnessed disrespectful treatment to military and terrible food operations and quality. First and foremost, there was a manager on duty who did not respond when a military service member politely asked to speak to a manger. He asked twice and another worker flat out ignored him. I don’t care what is going on with the crazy operations side and how busy you are - it is flat out unacceptable to not even address a military veteran and/or service person when they speak to you and ask a simple question about their large order that is supporting your business. He patiently waited and waited and was rudely told by one worker that the manager was “busy” and then ignored when he flat out asked to speak to a manager.
Additionally, there was an elderly woman who just wanted her pizza remade because it was cold and the Panera employees barely acknowledged her and continually couldn’t address or explain the status of her order and they were not friendly/customer-service oriented at all and were only focused on making more orders and what they were doing. A simple pause to listen to the customer and address concerns goes a long way, folks.
Ownership really needs to step in address these major issues. In addition, the majority of people (myself included) would receive their food after the at least 30 minute wait and then have to come back up and make adjustments because after all of the time waiting the order was wrong. For example, in our order they only gave us 1/2 of a sandwich when we paid for a full sandwich, left the hummus off off the Mediterranean veggie and only gave us one bag of chips instead of two and forgot our drink. Also, typically the proper customer service thing to do is to say “I’m so sorry for your wait and that we got your order wrong”, which only one person working there did during my wait there.
Extremely poor representation of a normally well-operated company and is making me rethink my support of...
Read moreI stopped here on the way to STL from Oklahoma. I had my family in tow and was ready for a reasonably healthy dinner before getting back on the road. The girl at the counter did that thing where she stared me down when I greeted her. After my second greeting she ignored me again. She finally said she was fine on my third greeting. After that she messed up my order and served us food for 2 despite the three people in the group and a clear loud order. While waiting for the order I had to use the bathroom. It was gross. So I said something to the people at the food prep bar. Again they looked at me as if to say "that is not my job". Upon being seated my daughter noticed that her Mac and cheese was a kids size. NBD "I will just buy you something else if you are still hungry" I said. She was so I went up to get her a half Greek because she said mine looked good. To be honest it was pretty good. When I ordered her salad the mute cashier asked if I wanted chicken in it. Which made me realize that I never got the chicken in my salad. At that point the manager came over and asked what was wrong with my order. I explained and she offered the secondary salad for free. While I had her ear I explained that the bathroom was literally unusable. And was told they are cleaning it. As soon as they were done cleaning I went in because I HAD to go by then. If this is the cleanest that their bathroom gets (where customers can see) just imagine how nasty the kitchen is. Panera has been downhill for years but this was just fowl. They just mopped and there is visible dirt. The toilet was just cleaned and there is petrified fecal matter stuck to the toilet seat and tank. And hardened soap stuck to the wall right next to the rust and dirt. Pictures all attached along with a portion of my receipt.
I am pretty sure this is an army town too. Those soldier deserve...
Read moreDon't bother going to this location. The Service is absolutely dreadful. I have been here probably five or six times in the past month before work and they (maybe) got my order right twice. The first time I went, I had ordered and paid for a whole sandwich. They only brought me out a half, and then got snippy with me when I asked if they would bring out the other half of the sandwich that I had paid for. They did begrudgingly. Another time I went through the drive-through and they had left my card in the chip holder after giving me my sandwich. I knocked on the window as the person at the drive-through had walked away. She looked at me and rolled her eyes and kept walking. I just open the drive through window myself and grabbed my card and left. Most recently I went and usually get the chipotle chicken avocado melt. After waiting 20 minutes in the rapid pick up spot, I went inside to see what was going on with my order. I even checked my order to make sure I selected that they bring it out to my car in case I was in the wrong. I had ordered it right. At first they couldn't find my order, but it turned out that someone had made it and placed in the inside pick up area. Then they tell me that they were out of both the avocados and the chipotle sauce so they literally threw some chicken on to some bread and called it good. No one in here really seems to know what they are doing or what...
