Emerald Eve Event Center — Local services in Salem

Emerald Eve was exactly what we were looking for. Our florist asked to come in early because they had 14 other weddings that day. Emerald Eve graciously accommodated that request and granted us early access.

We wanted extra fancy wooden tables with furnishings, and the event center removed and stored all their tables ahead of time to meet our request. Although we didn't play the piano, we enjoyed having a medium grand piano as part of the decor.

In retrospect, the only thing I would change is the post event communication with the event center. I am not much with texts, and I think a 2 minute phone call would have served us better than several texts. I don't know if the event center has large brooms because we didn't see any, so we used small brooms like you would find in many homes. We probably should have asked ahead of time because that would have helped us do a better job and save a lot of time in sweeping.

Wonderful place to rent for any kind of party. We had my dad's retirement/ 70th Birthday celebration here. We had so many guests express how they loved the place. The soda machines are a great bonus! Tables and chairs already on site. The wooden walls and REAL old barn doors make for a great backdrop for photos. Even the restrooms are awesome. The TV wall with xboxes kept the kids entertained. We used the projector to play a homemade slideshow with pictures of dad through the years with his favorite songs playing along with them. I really can't say enough. Fabulous memories were made here. My son had his reception here. The staff is super great to work with and helpful. They have a room full of decorations that you can use, a stage with a full sound system and lights you can hire a DJ and they can easily hook up into the speaker system. They also have six TVs that you can show Videos or photos on. They have a glass countertop against the window that you can display things on. They have all kinds of tables that they set up for you with tablecloths and chairs for the reception or event.
