KFC — Restaurant in Salem

Wish I could rate it lower. I ordered food and waited over 35 minutes for them to make fresh. Then the manager took the food from the girl I ordered from and then didn't have the nerve to come up and tell me. She made the girl come up and tell me....saying she was sorry and that she tried to tell her that it was for me, yet she still stole it from her.

When I spoke to the manager, her response...."so, what do you want me to do?"

I got a refund and as I was leaving, the manager had to get in the last word by yelling at me as I was leaving....I came back and she walked to the back of the kitchen to hide.

By yelling the stuff she did, she almost started a riot.

I call the 800 line to let them know and I got a call back from the area manager who right away started to blame me....even though I patiently waited 35 minutes for something I was told would only take 17 minutes.

During the same time, several other customers were shorted food after waiting forever for fresh food. Other customers left because the line wasn't moving.....and the whole time, the manager never got the counter girl any help.

So, the area manager said she was going to write up the counter girl for messing up....when I tried to explain to her what went on, she kept talking over me and interrupting me.

It's unfortunate that the store itself has poor management, but when you talk to the area manager, you can understand where they get it from.

If I was the franchise owner, I would certainly be looking at my management and see why service and...

I ordered a bucket of fried chicken with mashed potatoes & gravy and corn at the KFC Salem Main Street drive through earlier this evening. Time of order: 3:08pm. I asked for mostly dark meat but they were almost out so I was ok with a mix of light and dark meat, no problem. I asked for mashed potatoes & gravy and corn as my 2 sides, they said no problem. I paid my $40+ bill and the window cashier said to pull over and wait for the chicken to be fried. About 15 minutes into my wait, an employee came out and told me no biscuits were available and my choices were to go home and come back in 15 minutes, wait 15 for a new batch of biscuits or take a small cake instead. I asked why I wasn't informed of that when I was ordering since my family likes the biscuits, they offered no explanation. I accepted the small cake instead. Went bag was opened at home I discovered there was no gravy. I called back and asked for the manager. Had to wait 20 minutes. When she got on the phone I asked why no gravy. She said "... they are busy". (There was no line of customers waiting at the time I was there.) In a normal tone of voice I said that's her problem, not mine. She took a minute and came back on and said: "you're an xxx" (will not repeat the curse word she used) and she abruptly hung up.

If that manager can't deal with reasonable customers, she should seek training or find another job. Likewise, if she can't manage her employees to speed up production a bit when necessary, find a non...

I placed an order here through doordash for a 5 piece chicken tenders box with mashed potatoes and corn as my sides and a diet soda with 2 extra biscuits. Upon inspection after delivery all seemed well. Received the drink.from the dasher in hand. Then sealed bag with boxes inside. After getting back in my truck and fully opening the bag everything seemed normal. I go for the big box which is where i expected the star of the show the tenders to be located. I pop open the box and upon first glance i see the red top of what im guessing is a side on the right side of the box all the way upto the top of the box on the right side and on the left side is 2 biscuits. And the other box had 2 biscuits as well. Where are my chicken tenders?!! You had one job! Fast food isn't this complicated!!! I should've read the reviews first. I also got, "well next time you come back through here", By someone who is very incompetent. No i won't ever be back or order from you again. Take the tenders and open your cranium and insert one of them and promote it acting brain for yourself, then take the others and put them...
