This shop is the premier candy shop in Salem Oregon. They have everything! Bulk candy, foreign candy, cute little knicknacks, they even have slime! A quick note to those that are part of the poppin cookin cult: this is one of the cheapest places to get them, its awesome. The customer service also made me cry recently when I came around christmas time. Me and my partner were getting some candy, and I was struggling with picking. We are (to be honest) not the richest in the world. So I had to say no to one of the candies I wanted. After we checked out, the man behind the counter handed me a candy bar, wished us a merry christmas, and sent us on our way. I had never been so moved by such a lovely gesture, I know yadda yadda customer service moves clever marketing, but it was such a lovely and kind method to share the christmas spirit!...

I love this place. They carry candy and soda that I would buy as a kid and even stuff that was off the market before I was alive. This place is a must if you are in the area. Yes their prices can be a little spendy on some things, but you have to remember that no one else is carrying the majority of their stock. They have found vendors who still make some old favorites and will ship them. You must stop and check out their store, even if it is only to watch OLD cartoons...

Fun atmosphere! Love the tiny shopping baskets. My 2 year old was in heaven. Wife and I were disappointed in the actual candy, though. Jelly Belly’s were hard as rocks, old fashioned candy sticks left a bad taste in my mouth, the chocolate covered pretzel stick tasted old. Maybe we just got unlucky as other reviews have been very positive. I’d recommend this shop but only for the experience, not because the candy was good. The girl at the counter was very pleasant...
