Bigwig Donuts — Restaurant in Salem

I really want to give 4+ stars .... But what business that wants success is open for 4 hours per day without huge lines outside ? This place has fantastic donut holes, but not actual donuts, just holes. So I have 1 option for size. Next , my cold brew is seriously only 4 oz ? there's not an option for a 12 or 16, seriously? I wouldn't come back for a coffee since you charge full price for 4 oz while shop across the road does a 16 cold brew for same price.....even if it's just added water, make it an option or known or whatever ..... I won't come back for cold brew ever!

Next, you open at 9 am for coffee and donuts???? Talk about a bad business practice. I'm staying in town and my first day I wanted to give you business due to the great reviews. The donuts were fantastic and great! Ever other day ..... Donuts and coffee spots typically open at 6-7 am ( not 9 am,) but maybe people need this as an extra snack since they open so late ?

Opening after 9am for coffee and donuts makes zero sense ...I hope you do well in the long run ... But as a visitor in downtown Salem, I wanted to give you more business but it made zero sense with your limited hours. Imagine if you worked am 8 hour day ...crazy...

It takes over an hour for me to drive here and back, and they are definitely worth the trip. Take that as you will! The chocolate and the lemon poppyseed donuts are my favorites. Do yourself a favor, buy the 2 dozen especially if you drive a ways to get there. The only problem I had was the coffee. It was 50 percent empty, 25 percent ice, and 25 percent actual coffee drink. When I got home, the foam was almost gone and I was left with a really sad, disappointing looking drink that looked like it was almost empty. However, I don't hold that against them because that's not why I go here. Thanks for just focusing on what you do well, no frills, with really awesome service without being preachy about anything. New to town and scoping out all the vegan places. I was so happy to find this gem! I took my daughter here to try her first donuts! She loved the chocolate best. There are 6 flavors to choose from, maple, chocolate, cinnamon, raspberry, poppy seed....can't remember the last one. All donuts are donut holes and not huge donuts. I love this! All donuts are super fresh made and tasty!! I highly recomend this place! Looks like coffee and other drinks available, but we didn't get those.
