I've been back and forth the last few days deciding if I wanted to leave this review. I don't like bashing companies, but sometimes there are certain experiences that I like to share just to save others from the same thing. After reading other reviews, I realized I wasn't the only one to experience this issue, so I wanted to share my story. I was in Salem this past week with my husband and some friends. We stopped at the store as I was looking for souvenirs not only for ourselves but also for some friends and family back home. When I first walked in the store I was excited there were so many different options and there were great prices. I couldn't wait to find some cool things. I was looking for a shirt for my brother when a employee with dark hair loudly shouted across the store that they wouldn't have my size. A couple people looked over and I felt embarrassed but not wanting to further the interaction I just said okay and moved further down. I continued to look at other shirts for my brother. Also I want to point out I did find my size in the store but that's not the point she made an assumption because I'm plus size. I continued to look at another shirt for my brother and she again said that they wouldn't have my size in the store but louder this time. More people were looking over and it was embarrassing and frustrating. I should have to explain to her who I'm looking for just to have her leave me alone. I get many stores don't carry plus size. With health issues. It's taking me forever to get back to where I am and I'm still working on it. I shouldn't have to sit here and explain this either just to make my point valid. But it doesn't mean she should loudly criticize me . I should have been able to find out on my own if they didn't have my size. Or again Like I said, I wasn't even looking for me and she didn't know that she just made an assumption. My friends and husband were also frustrated and decided to put back some items and left with only a few things we thought we couldn't find elsewhere. We only spent $20 instead of probably closer to $200 after this. If she really needs to let customers know they can't get their size maybe go up to them and ask nicely if they need help finding something instead of bashing them for all to hear...

Read moreSo my wife recently was in Salem for a well needed, and well-deserved getaway with friends. The three of them decided to check out your business when they were out and about being tourists taking in the town, sights, and enjoying the small shops around.
While at your place of business, my wife was shopping casually for souvenirs for family/friends, as well as perhaps some clothing for herself to remember her trip. As she was browsing at tops an âoutstandingâ female employee of yours with blue hair along with another woman, decided to make a rude, ignorant, absurd, asinine comment regarding sizing and laugh about said comment; which I imagine because my wife is curvy they seemed to feel as if their comment was humorous.
I was not present on this trip, however I wish I was; as this would have been addressed immediately with a manager or business owner. Instead, my wife and her two friends decided your business was no longer worth supporting based upon one or two persons ignorance, placed their items of interest back, and politely departed your store.
I hope no one else has experienced any incident like this, and if you have; Iâll apologize to you as this event was entirely uncalled for. Iâm thoroughly disappointed as when this store was described to me I hoped to visit it one day, but this incident will...
