Title: "A Stellar Dining Experience at Village Tavern with Outstanding Service"
Review:
Last night, my dining experience at Village Tavern transcended my expectations, thanks to our server, Kristin F., and the remarkable cuisine. Here are six standout aspects of our visit:
Exceptional Service by Kristin F.: From the moment we were seated, Kristin F. made us feel welcomed and valued. Her recommendations for drinks, appetizers, and entrees were spot-on. Her attentive service and vibrant energy greatly enhanced our dining experience.
Expert Drink Recommendations: Kristin's knowledge of the drink menu was impressive. Each recommendation she made was a delightful surprise, elevating our overall dining pleasure.
Mouth-Watering Appetizers: The appetizers set a high standard for the rest of the meal. Each one was a burst of flavor, perfectly prepared and presented.
Delicious and Flavorful Tacos: The tacos deserve a special mention. They were not just good; they were a flavor-packed journey, leaving us savoring every bite.
The Prime Rib - A Culinary Delight: My choice of the prime rib was a highlight. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and seasoned just right. The accompaniments were equally delicious, making it a memorable dish.
Exceptional Value for High-Quality Cuisine: The 20 oz prime rib at $39.00 was not only scrumptious but also represented great value for money. It's rare to find such quality at this price point.
In conclusion, Village Tavern isn't just about great food; it's about an experience that leaves you wanting to return. Thanks to Kristin F. and the culinary team for an unforgettable evening....

Walked in, nobody at the door, self sat at a high top next to the bar never had service, which was odd since there was a ton of staff on. Went to the bar to order drinks and ask for a menu, the drinks opened a tab then got told the kitchen closed early. Google says it's open until 11, it was 8:30pm. We were there for the GF food options so oh well I'll cash out... $10 card min, that's understandable but I wouldn't have ordered the $5 beer if I had known the kitchen was closed. Ok I hit the ATM and take the service fee hit, chug the beer and go to cash out. The bartender, who gave the impression this happens often but still wanted to seem annoyed, puts it on the card anyway and tells me to order more next time... As if I didn't try.
Anyway someone turned on some cheap disco lights and turned up their Now That's What I Call Dance Music for White People CD. Love the club vibe of a disco in an Applebee's, so cool.
Most of clientele, wearing their backwards hat and hoodie combos, made me think I had accidentally walked into a daterape convention. Which tracks since half of the restaurant was filled with security. A customer to securety staff ratio of 1 to 1 is never a good sign.
Went to a better spot for the evening and passed Village on our way home, there was two ambulance and a cop car parked out front and the bar was empty. Seemed right.
Beer list was...

We arrived a couple of minutes early, and a line was already starting. At 11, a staff member started escorting folks one party at a time, but then these people were asked to come back out as the venue was not ready yet. It was disorganized and frustrating as we were then told to step aside and let other customers in if we were here for the event. After ten minutes, we were guided to the room and checked in. However, there weren't clear instructions on where to sit, and some tables had "reserved" labels, making it even more confusing. Once we figured out where we could sit, things went much smoother.
Village Tavern does not serve brunch, but they curated small but varied options for the event. Hubs and I split the chicken, waffles, and breakfast pizza. There was more confusion when it came to delivering the food. However, once it arrived, it blew our expectations. The chicken was juicy, tender, and flavorful inside the crispy shell. The waffles were delish, too, and the fig maple syrup with mascarpone bechamel was spot on. The breakfast pizza was just as good, with a nice chewy crust, flavorful toppings, and seasoned well.
Jessica, our server, was on top of everything and definitely added to the fun.
It's a shame we haven't come to Village Tavern before. We can't wait to try it for lunch or...
