I had an awesome experience dining at Jalisco Restaurant! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, checking in frequently to ensure I had everything I needed without being intrusive.

I ordered the Carne con Queso with Spanish rice and black beans, and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The food arrived hot and fresh, just the way it should be, and every bite was bursting with flavor. The combination of tender, well-seasoned carne and rich, melty queso was absolutely delicious.

Another great touch was the many TVs playing different sports games, creating a fun and lively atmosphere for guests who enjoy watching while they dine. Whether you're there for the food, the service, or to catch a game, Jalisco Restaurant delivers on all fronts.

It maybe that being from Texas, I have very high expectations for Mexican cuisine. This place failed on many levels, but mostly on quality control. It started with the tortilla chips. They brought out the standard chips and salsa. The salsa was good, quite different taste with a lot of cumin in it. The chips were BAD. They tasted bad. Having worked briefly in a Mexican restaurant, I knew that the grease that they were cooked in had gone bad. At the end of my meal, I said something about it to the manager (?) who told me that, "Yeah, we've been getting complaints about them all day. Probably the grease has gone bad." Complaints ALL DAY? Then why were you still serving them at dinner time? I ordered the Ultimate Steak Carbon Tacos. The beans were bland, like beans cooked with some salt. The rice didn't have a lot of taste either. The tacos were grilled steak wrapped in flour tortillas smothered in red enchilada sauce, with cheese and lettuce.. The sauce had too much chili powder and overwhelmed the other flavors. :-( my friends and I would come out once a month here to catch up, etc. Well do to busy schedules we hadn't been back in a long time, tonight, though, we planned to meet up again and we were so disappointed, our waitress didnt come check on us after delivering food, the food was cold, especially my plate, its one I always ordered AND it was half the size, my friends black beans and corn looked liked they were dumped out of a can and she said it had no flavor and our waters were never refilled. When our waitress finally stopped by, we were done moving food around. We had to get up and go to check out ourselves and she didn't ask 'how was it was' either. Idk what happened but its definatey not like it was before, we will find another eating place for our get togethers.
