Want to know how they treat workers? Here you go.... My daughter, Kierstyn, worked at here a couple years or so ago. She worked hard as she was also in high school. We were all proud of her and came to eat there towards tge end if her shift one night. It was myself, hubby and my grown son. We ate a nice meal and when my daughter was done with her shift, she sat down with us, and we bought her a meal too. Now for some reason they couldn't put this all on one ticket and had to put hers on a seperate ticket by itself. I said that's fine. When we paid for it all, we tipped huge as we usually do, and even a little extra just because it was our daughters job. But how I tipped, was I put it all on ours, and the one with my daughters meal I put zero. I didn't feel this needed explanation because I thought the people there were smart enough to know that obviously the tip was for all the meals together. After all, they were the ones who sit it up in different tickets and asked if it was okay. The next day my daughter was written off the schedule with NO explanation. Clearly we know they were being petty and to weak to even say why. Probably because you can't legally fire for that reason. Now my daughter has graduated high school, went to college for her CNA, and airlines where she would make top scale pay as a medical airline attendant if she wanted to go that direction. She is now working on CMA and making more money than that petty manager, as well as she has many avenues that she can go in if she had to. Also, to this day, when we go to this steakhouse.... we only give tips in cash now. We always get the expensive meals, and we tip between $30 and $60. We secretly hand them the tip and write zero on the ticket. We figure that if we do that enough, management/seating people will think we don't tip, and place us with the wait staff they pick on the most. And then we are there to help that individual have a good day, since we now know how they treat their employees. It's truly not that hard to...
Read moreA few weeks ago we took my boyfriend’s mother her for lunch. We were seated and the waiter took our order. We waited over an hour for our food while everyone that came in after us were getting theirs. I asked the manager and she asked what did you order? I said we all had steaks. She asked if they were to be cooked well done. I said no all of them were medium rare. Then shorty our food came out and it was all cold. So yesterday we decided to give them another try. Thinking that maybe it was just a fluke it happened. Everything came out ok. Unfortunately I left my debit card on the table when I paid for the meal. I discovered it the next day and called the restaurant asking if I had done so which I was 99% sure I did. The lady that answered the phone immediately said one hasn’t been turned in. I said it would have been last night. She said nope again. I then asked her if she could go check because how would she know so quickly. She said because I was here last night. I then drove to the restaurant and was there within five minutes from the call. The manager was at the hostess station so I told her I was there. She then called someone to check and what do you know it was there. I told the manager that I had just called and how her staff responded. Her excuse was they would have not known it was turned it in so she wouldn’t have know. First of all that’s not how she responded to me. She acted as she would have known because she was able to tell me no. Second of all she should have handed my call to someone that would have been capable of answering my question. It was just pure laziness and the manager just making stupid excuses for the...
Read moreThe attitude of a waitress was awful to myself and my family member. They knew two hours ahead we would be arriving. Everyone was nearly done eating before a "fix" to food was done for one person. Told @20 min wait to be set at table that turned into an hour, and not enough seating for waiting. Being handicap and having to stand so l9ng is no joke and painful, causing grumpiness. One family member tried to get waitress attention three times and was ignored. No drink refills. Medium well food was well done, etc. The food was OK, but not exceptional. Did not give large tips like usual, but gave a little. Had a large group of us. Lost two family members since we were last together and were just wanting downtime together. Wasn't pleased with service. What this restaurant had no idea about is @1/3 of the family is part of another chain restaurant, and one has been on TV with her own cooking show. Sad...the staff could have really gotten big tips and kudos... but nope, a less than happy review is being given. By the way, this is the first time I have ever shared about our families' background, but this one time out of 60+ years, I am sharing as I believe it is needed. Music drowned out talking to others or hearing what they shared. Needed one more table as put someone at head of table. Myself, I held 2/3 of my plate to eat as there was not enough room at the table; glad I didn't order a steak to cut. Waitresses did not remove the appetizer(s) plates and plates we used, reducing space available for everyone when the main course was served, even with us trying to...
