My husband and I switched to Nextech from Verizon in December. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE. Nextech is an endless disappointment. When I first got my brand new Samsung Galaxy S10 the service was soo slow most of the time it completely failed to load web pages. I felt like I went back in time to dial up. We live on the south side of Salina right by one of their towers on top of Tony's. I work on Santa Fe Ave in the heart of downtown. Not once in two complete months have I had LTE. I constantly have 3 bars at the most. I am sitting in my house and I have 3 bars right now. They have their own voicemail app provided by a 3rd party that is completely down and still doesn't work on my phone. My texts constantly fail to send. I currently have a text on my phone that has been trying to send since Jan 11th. It's still sitting in my thread with a spinning wheel beside it. My husband and I called multiple multiple times and they are unable to fix our problems. They say it is fixed but it is definitely not. Since we first signed up they "sped up" our service. Which honestly just leads to more questions. Why wasn't it fast to begin with? Do they speed it up for some people but not for others? If you are a Verizon customer DO NOT SWITCH. You will regret it. Read moreWe just switched from AT&T. While I cant speak to the cell service yet since it hasn't even been 24 hours, I do want to leave feedback on the customer service we received. I had been in a week prior to switching just to inquire about switching our 7 lines over to Nex tech. A very nice gentleman named Grant helped me at that time. After discussing with my family we decided to make the switch. When we got to the office there was one young lady working ( it was a Sunday). She was super polite. I explained what I had discussed with Grant and told her we were ready to make the switch. At that point she contacted Grant and he came into the office on his day off just to get us all taken care of. He spent a few hours working on getting our numbers ported over, getting a few new phones, getting the service set up, and showing us how to transfer the apps etc from the old devices to the new ones. He truly went above and beyond to take care of what we needed and made it a positive experience. He is definitely an asset to the company, and I would highly recommend working with Grant. Read moreThe entire staff lacks competence. I took my phone in for a malfunction due to a software malfunction. Was handed an iphone4 loaner phone, since they needed to send my phone to be fixed. We live in Wichita. And were told 7-14days. Never received a call, and after 3 weeks I called and it had just been sent to the manufacturer, and they would call me when it was in. Nope. Contacted them yet again, and was apparently talking to SIERRA Who led me to believe she was the manager of this store, after I asked to speak to a manager.. Contacted them again, found out SIERRA works in hays in customer service. When I finally spoke to Ms. Sherwood the manager of this location, she assured me she would do everything to get this situation resolved even though I wanted out of nextech. She said she would contact me that afternoon, which never happened. Then I had to contact her today, and she yet again NEVER called me back. So I contacted customer service again, and spoke to KIM, who had to play the same games. Beyond livid with the whole company! Lack of customer service, poor communication. Thanks guys.
