Global Supermarket — Local services in Salt Lake City

I love trying all the different markets around Salt Lake County especially the small businesses but unfortunately I will not be going back to this one. The place felt overcrowded with things for the amount of space they have and the exterior/interior were a typical south salt lake grungy. It looks like it hasn't been renovated or updated in quite some time and could use it. The lady at the counter wasn't nice either. I felt weird not buying something as I was the only one in the quiet store (red flag) so I bought a bag of my fave asian snack that I could buy at any of the asian markets. As I was checking out, the lady basically harassed me and rolled her eyes for not having cash to pay for my one item before begrudgingly switching over to the card machine to check me out. This place is pretty neat! I love the selection :D they have a really good price on spices and noodles. We got a huge pack of vermicelli rice noodles for just 2.99. we would've paid more at a Smith's for the quantity we got. For the spices. We needed peppercorn and five spice. I've been there many times to buy snacks, drinks and ingredients for some dishes. My favorite drink is the melon juice Mogu Mogu and the Shin black noodles soup the prices are amazing and cheaper than a regular grocery store when it comes to Asian food.
