My family and I tried this restaurant for the first time last night. We were celebrating a birthday and there were 9 of us. I'll start by saying that it took at least 3-4 minutes for us to even be greeted at the front desk. There were only about 3 tables with 3-4 people at each at the restaurant at the time. It was not busy. Then we came to find out no tables had been pushed together even though we called in the make a reservation prior to coming in (about 1.5 - 2 hours before). So one of our group members had to push tables together. 5 of us showed up first and we specifically said we'd like to order appetizers right away before the other people get there because we knew some guests would be late. It took the server ten minutes to bring us water and another five to take our appetizer order (we had to wave at her to get her to come over) and we were starving. The appetizers themselves were great. At this point we already knew the service would be average and that we would just have to make due with that even though we all considered moving the dinner to a different restaurant. Our water pitchers were NEVER refilled and when you have 3 pitchers for 9 people you can pretty much assume they will need to be at some point. One of our group members ordered a mixed drink and had to wait TWENTY FIVE minutes for it. Seriously? I have never had to wait that long for anything at a restaurant except for food (especially one with so many stars) considering how few customers were there. When the rest of our group arrived, it took literally another 20 minutes to place our order. No one ever came to check on us. We spent a total of two and a half hours at this place. We literally had to ask for every specific thing and had to wave the server over to place our order. Our appetizer plates were not cleared until our meals came out so we all had to stare at our empty appetizer plates for 30-40 minutes. We spent a total of TWO AND A HALF HOURS at this restaurant. Not because we wanted to but because the service was so terribly slow. Our server disappeared about halfway through our time there and someone else took over without even a word. Even though she did start cleaning the floor with the most disgusting smelling cleaner right next to our table even though they were not even close to closing time and the floor was not dirty. My mom had such a terrible allergic reaction she could not breathe through her nose. That is just unnecessary. I do want to note that the food was good (which is why I gave 3 stars) and everyone at our table seemed satisfied with it. I can't end this review before discussing the bathrooms. The restaurant is located inside of a Ramada hotel. The bathrooms for patrons of the restaurant, are located just a few steps away inside the hotel. I have never ever been in such a disgusting bathroom before, not even on a road trip at a truck stop. There was no toilet paper in two of the stalls, one of the toilets was so backed up there was fecal matter in the toiler, on the floor, all over the toilet, the walls. There was blood on the floor. One of the stalls would not lock. I was so repulsed that I did not use the bathroom the entire time I was at the restaurant. I know that it may not be the restaurant's fault that the bathrooms were so bad, that's mainly the hotel's fault, but it is the restaurant's responsibility to periodically check the bathroom to make sure it is clean and suitable for their customers buying the food that is really not cheap for the portion. Overall, I would not return to this restaurant. I would maybe consider getting takeout but that would also not be likely. If you made it to the end of this, great. I hope the service has improved if you...
Read moreHate to leave this review but very disappointing meal. Ordered Chicken Curry with plain naan. There were multiple issues with this meal along with a couple positive notes. First the entree. The chicken itself was fresh and tender. But the overall dish was not tasty at all. The curry wasn't the best tasting curry, but what made it nearly inedible was the unbelievable amount of salt. By far the saltiest tasting food I have ever had. Had to pull the chicken out of the sauce. It was that bad. Even withouth the salty taste it wasn't the most pleasant curry I've had. The naan....not inedible but some of the worst I've had at a restaurant. Very dense. Odd color. A bit greasy. Almost like it was pan fried instead of baked in a tandoor oven. Very thin, no bubbles, unrisen and flat. Not appetizing on its own and definately could not dip it in that salty curry. On a positive note...they included some tasty mint chutney in the order in which I could dip the naan in which made it worth eating. If not for that very good chutney, the naan would have been wasted. Now, the rice. This is where I am a bit upset. It was not basmati rice. It was good ole plain long grain white rice. And to top that off, it was incredibly oily. A thick film of oil is at the bottom of the container. Absolutely no aromatics to this rice at all. I tasted and smelled it over and over again. It was plain white rice. Cheap. If it was in fact basmati rice then they have the worst basmati ever because it is so plain. I ordered from here because Door Dash reviews had it at a 4.8. Sadly it really missed the...
