I’ve been to Leighann for Rolfing for the past 3 months. I’ve suffered from back pain for about 10 years, and have tried everything—physical therapy, a variety of chiropractors, massage, acupuncture. No one has given me as much relief and as much information as Leighann.
Leighann’s knowledge of the body and how it moves is unbelievable. She looked at how I walked, sat, stood, and moved and was able to deduce what I needed. She not only does structural manipulation, but gives you real-world knowledge of how to move correctly along with exercises (ones you’ll actually do).
It does take a few sessions to feel the results. It was around the 4th or 5th that I really felt an improvement. I only have my 10th session left and I feel like a have a new body. I move better, sit better, and understand how the whole body is connected.
I came in after a back flare up barely able to function. I now have zero back pain and can bend over to tie my shoes, jog, snowboard, etc. I know back pain comes and goes, but Leighann has given me the info and foundation I need to keep back pain at bay. Read moreI have been to Leighann for Rolfing and Feldenkrais. In the past 3 months I have learned so much and my body has shifted so much. I was in pain for 2 years back and had lots of muscle tension. Through Feldenkrais she helped me to understand the movements that I do daily that helped create my problems so that I can move, walk, stand differently and create new patterns. As far as my back pain it has improved immensely, from doing Rolfing ( which doesn’t hurt in case your wondering). I can go to work without a back brace and do short hikes.
