Western Garden Centers — Local services in Salt Lake City

Last year I purchased a Mimosa tree from Western Garden in West Valley they told me that if it don't survive the winter to bring it back & they would replace it. Well it never budded out this spring so I called them & they said to wait another week so I did still no sign of budding. So I brought it back to them. They said to go find another one. We did & brought it to the cashier. As she was doing the paper work she said that we owe the difference in the price of $20.00 & there is no refund. They only give in store credit. There invoice says ( Refund limited to original cost) It doesn't say anything about ( in store credit only). I can't believe that over $20.00 they are willing to lose business from not only me but family, friends & anyone...

I bought this Croton Petra less than a year ago (September ‘24) and a Jade plant as well. This Croton Petra is a delight to have indoor to enjoy. I water it about once a week. It is in a south facing window and receives at least 4-5 hours of daylight. I love this plant because of the red hues and vibrant colors on its leaves. During winter, it did not go dormant and continued to grow. When I purchased this Croton Petra it was in a 6 inch plastic pot. I just transplanted it into a large 8.5 inch pot to give growing room. I am hoping it will get really tall in the next year or two! Thank you Western Garden’s! Also, Lee, my old boss! I loved working at your nursery. So happy to have this nursery nearby...

Single handedly the best greenery store I've ever been to. Not only are the staff incredibly knowledgeable, but they're more than happy to help you, chat with you and even give you directions to some of their favorite spots in town! I came in here with a specific plant in mind, and was instantly shown where they all were, along with instructions on how to water and care for them. I was shown other plants similar and then left to wander around and take in the beauty that was available for me to take home. I walked out with only one plant, but was incredibly happy with it, and if all goes well the next few weeks, I plan on coming back...
