The Beauty District (previously Bisou Beauty) — Local services in Salt Lake City

They were extremely, extremely nice. Very awesome personalities. But I felt that they were unnecessarily rough with my nose during their painful pore extractions using a small metal tool. I should have been more clear with how uncomfortable it was, but it was my first hydrafacial and extraction ever, and "beauty is pain", so I trusted the process and didn't want to be a whiner in the moment. Maybe this will be brushed off as not possible, but I believe the extractions left me with splotchy dark spots on one side of my nose that I've never had before. Another insecurity I have to deal with and try to take care of for the next who-knows-how-long...Years? I might start putting concealer on my nose... Not sure if the microneedling contributed too. Now I'm thinking I probably could have been more diligent with my sunscreen post-care. However I can't trace the dark spots to any other event. I was honestly blindsided by how hard they pressed on my nose, because of how pleasant our communication had been up to that point. I think they were really focused on the efficiency of the extraction process and didn't realize or think to mention how painful it might be for some customers. I didn't reach out to them about the dark spots because I'm afraid they wouldn't believe me which would be embarrassing and frustrating for both parties, and even if they did, I feel like it'd be a hard problem for them to solve. I'm getting IPL treatments and a jet plasma treatment soon. Also getting hyperpigmentation serum from Maelove...And wearing even more sunscreen EDIT: Since the microneedling I've also noticed new bumps (not zits--I'm guessing excess collagen buildup) that I'd hoped would go away by now, discoloration/redness (which, again, maybe is partially due to not being as diligent with sunscreen?), and even grooves in my skin--like crevices/creases (very weird). I feel the microneedling job was not high-quality and was ultimately damaging and unsafe. I remember having anxiety when they told me they were doing my whole face, since I was only concerned with my under eye area. Now I have a bunch of ugly new problems on the sides of my face (though I'm sure hardly anybody--certainly not any skincare center--would readily believe that it came from one of their procedures). Again, I should have spoken up when I felt a panic/anxious about them doing my whole face...In my opinion I would have avoided accumulating these new...

I have been getting my eyelashes done by Millie and she is AMAZING. Seriously never misses. She is also so fun and personable so sitting in her chair every two weeks is easy because of the conversation! I also got my eyebrows microbladed by Hannah and I just gotta say it is amazing to not have to do my eyebrows anymore. Bisou reached out to me to be the demo model for their PMU class and I loved hearing all the steps of how it was all going to happen. It’s kind of daunting to get a tattoo on your face. Hannah also did amazing at choosing the right shape for my brows. She gave me the option to choose how I would like it but I pretty much let her do whatever she thought would make my face look best. She also made sure to ask about whether I planned on keeping up on tinting my VERY light natural brows because she wanted to microblade a color that I could keep up with so it stayed looking natural. I also got my lips pigmented by a student! Judi and Hannah were awesome at making sure the student was doing everything right and gave her pointers on how to do it so it would be faster, less painful for me, and still look good. I love not having to wakeup early to do my makeup anymore because I have everything else done! Brittney did a couple of tiny tattoos on me and she was just starting out, but I think they look so cute!! Going to Bisou is so worth it and the vibe is...

I can not say enough good things about Bisou Beauty and their staff! l've done everything from lashes to brows and waxing to permanent jewelry and even a tattoo and every single time I've had the best service! Hannah is always so kind and welcoming whenever come in and always makes sure have a good experience. I got my lashes laminated, tinted, and waxed with Brittney and Oh my heck, she did such an amazing job, I also got a permanent bracelet from Brit and it's probably my favorite piece of jewelry! I recently had a tattoo done by Judi and she also did freaking amazing! She is definitely going to be my go to artist from now on! She made me feel so comfortable during my appointment and made sure I was absolutely satisfied with the design and it turned out so cute!! Now for the person I see the most, Millie! She never fails to amaze me with the killer sets of lashes she does! Millie is so kind and always makes me feel like a friend and not a client! I couldn't imagine going to anyone else for my lashes ever. She's definitely gained a lifelong client, at least until she stops doing lashes haha! So if you're looking for a new salon to go to Bisou Beauty is your place!! Everyone is amazing at what they do and they will always make sure your experience is nothing but the best!!
