I go to Just Organic Juices anytime I'm in the Sugar house area because I cannot find a better Juice Bar in Salt Lake or near my home in Taylorsville. The ingredients are reliably fresh and delicious and their recipes are consistent. Just Juices is not like a Jamba Juice. They offer a good selection of vegetables, roots, spices, and even nut butters that are made for people who prefer their greens and celery and beets just juiced and not smothered and disguised with sugary fruit juices. Their Beet juice with lemon and celery and ginger is probably the best Beet Juice I've ever had. It's gonna cost you almost $10 for a bottle, but if you have ever tried juicing your own stuff or have been to other juice bars, you know the good stuff is not cheap. Here's why I can't give them 5 stars: They aren't flexible like they used to be with the menu items. I like to get a grounding greens smoothie and add beets to it. They used to be able to accommodate this request for a small upcharge. Perhaps management has changed or procedures have changed with the pandemic, but the last few times I asked for this add-on, it confused the cashier and the lady in the back making juices told me they simply could not do it. My only option is to but a $10 smoothie and then buy another $10 bottle of beet juice and mix it myself. I did this because I love the beet juice, but I cannot sustain a $20\day juice habit. So I visit Just Juice only occasionally. They don't have a drive-thru and the interior of their store is very small. If 2 customers are in their at once it feels full, and with 3 in there, you want to step outside.
Just Organic Juices offers 5 star quality juices and smoothies for sure. If they coupled that with 5 star service and maybe another location, or if they added a drive thru, I would go there...
Read moreYou know those loyalty cards shops like this give out, to encourage return visits? You buy products, get a punch-thru / stamp on the card, and when they fill up - you get a free item. I showed up to this location (after a long time between visits), and I had 8/10 punched through. I happened to be in the vicinity (with its godforsaken road construction) and decided to stop in and make some purchases. I was incentivized to buy 2 to complete the 10 on the loyalty card required for a free bottle. So I bring 3 bottles to the checkout, and the employee looked at the loyalty card with some puzzlement. He takes it in the back room (to show to someone). Another person comes out and tells me: "We don't do these anymore. We're under new ownership. It's been 4 years since we did these". Hmm, ok. And apparently they weren't interested whatsoever in maintaining a loyal customer (I used to visit far more often). If whoever made the decision to reject my card (that is, past proof-of-purchases) had absolutely no presence-of-mind to say something like, well we don't use these anymore, but we'll honor it in recognition of your patronage...that would have gone a long way in impressing me to return and make additional buys. But this stone cold disregard has guaranteed no more visits from me (I returned my intended purchases back to the cooler). And that's their choice. But if I was running a business interested in keeping people returning with money to spend - particularly in light of the horrific torn-up streets surrounding it - I would have surely made it clear that past patronage would not be...
Read moreWe stopped to this location for the first time on Sunday. It was also our first time trying Just organics juices.
1.) The two employees that were there were super friendly.
2.) The card reader wasn't working and we had to wait for over ten minutes before we could even place an order. When we were finally able to ring up, the employee had to manually enter our card.
3.) We purchased a total of three juices and if I'm to be brutally honest, the flavor isn't as good as other pressed juicery places. We purchased three different types of green juices and they did taste fresh. However the ingredient ratio was off. The curative cucumber had an overwhelming taste of parsley, which caused the drink to not taste very good.
The other two juices had too much taste of one ingredient, which made them less tasty.
I'm giving three stars for the fresh taste of the juices and the pleasant employees.
But removing two stars because of the overwhelming taste ( ingredients not balanced correctly) in any of the green juices I purchased.
I also feel the juices are very overpriced! 9.75 to 10.00 for plastic bottles, is more costly then other pressed juice bars. .. not worth it to me.
Unfortunately, I will not...
