2024.0824 The place was clean and devoid of customers. It was nighttime and I thought they were closed because they forgot to turn on the external and patio lights. The staff seemed polite and friendly. I could barely understand the cashier because she wore a mask. Face diapers never did a damn thing during the faux-demic and it's 2024 already, geesh! The restaurant menu is very limited. Various coffee, teas and drinks, a few salads, a few hot and cold sandwiches, breads and bagels, plus some soups. They have some desserts also, a cookie is $5.25. I got the cheese steak, full sandwich and it was almost $15! It was on a cut in half skinny ciabatta roll and it was small. The restaurant layout is stupid. You order on one side then walk way across the restaurant to pickup your order. Not only was the sandwich not worth the outrageous $15, the "steak" was gound up, wet and mushy like tuna from a can. It wasn't spread out unevenly over the 2 halves of the sandwich. I was expecting strips of steak or thin layered steak like an Arby's roast beef, but no such luck. There were just a few tiny pieces of bell pepper and onion mixed into the nasty "steak". I also asked for no sauce on the sandwich and yet they still put it on. They clearly weren't busy so why can't they follow a simple instruction like no sauce. The sauce was nasty and ruined the sandwich. I threw $15 in the trash. I have no idea how this place stays in business? I could have got 2 bigger footlong sandwiches from Subway for less money. It's unbelievable that most fast food places are now paying these unskilled, attention limited employees $20 an hour. I only went here because I had a $50 gift card. I can't remember 😞 who gave me that? Gee, thanks a lot. I'm taking my receipt back in with me and asking for a refund. Maybe the cold turkey, bacon and avocado without sauce will be palatable? I could always get 9 cookies for my $50 or maybe 2 dozen bagels which are $1.99 each! IMHO there's nothing great to come here to get that stands out. If you like to get little value for your money then this is the place for you. Stop spending so much money for coffee at places like this and Starbucks. 7 Eleven has a full on coffee bar area. There are various flavored coffees, creamers and syrups. You pay a fraction...
Read moreI wish to share my feelings about the incredibly lousy service we received on our 7/22/2015 visit to the San Bernardino Panera Bread Restaurant and to the totally uninvolved, unemphatic, uncaring and completely unprofessional treatment by the General Manager, Daniel, in a phone conversation on 7/24/2015. I was told by a manager on 7/23/2015 that Daniel would call me to address the problems we had with the horrible service we received on 7/22/2015 but no one called us. Daniel stated that he know nothing about the problems we had while dining at the restaurant on 7/22/2015. So basically either the manager I talked to on 7/23/2015 or Daniel, the General Manager, directly lied to me about having Daniel call me to express our displeasure with our 7/22/2015 visit. The service on our 7/22/2015 visit was unacceptably poor from Jessica, the Manager, to the man who was serving us and to Susana, the Cashier. We eat out 2 - 3 times a week. We will never eat at the San Bernardino Panera Bread Restaurant ever again and will make sure that all of our friends never patronize the restaurant again as well. We have eaten at many of the other Panera Bread Restaurants (Pasadena, Redlands, Victorville and others in So. California). We have generally had good to above average service from all other Panera Bread Restaurants that we patronize on a regular basis. The service we received at the San Bernardino Panera Bread Restaurant was the worst we have every experienced anywhere. In actuality, we have received better service in Denny's Restaurants in marginal areas of So. Cal where you wouldn't expect to receive good service. So there you go - the San Bernardino Panera Bread did not even rate as high as a marginal Denny's Restaurant. I would guess that they would not want this to get out but thanks to Daniel's extremely poor and unprofessional CYA attitude and responses to me in our conversation, it is quite obvious that they do not want or need our business nor any business of my friends, family or business contacts and associates. GOOD LUCK WITH THAT. THEY HAVE JUST UNDONE OVER 6.5 YEARS OF OUR ENJOYING AND RECOMMENDING PANERA BREAD RESTAURANTS TO...
Read morePanera Bread is a popular chain restaurant that offers a wide variety of soups, salads, sandwiches, and pastries. The Tippecanoe location in San Bernardino is no exception to the high quality of food that Panera Bread is known for.
The first thing that stands out about Panera Bread in Tippecanoe is the quality of the food. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful, and the portions are generous. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty bowl of soup or a light and healthy salad, there's something on the menu for everyone. The pastries are also a highlight, with the cinnamon roll being a particular standout.
The restaurant itself is clean and well-maintained, with ample seating and a cozy atmosphere. However, the downside to the popularity of Panera Bread in Tippecanoe is that it's always busy. Even during off-peak hours, the restaurant can be packed, and finding a table can be a challenge. The lines for ordering can also be long, although they do move quickly.
Overall, Panera Bread in Tippecanoe is a great choice for a quick, satisfying meal. The food is delicious, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is efficient. The only real drawback is that it's often too busy, which can make it difficult to find a seat or get in and out quickly. However, if you're willing to brave the crowds, it's definitely worth a visit. I would give Panera Bread in Tippecanoe San Bernardino...
