Athleta — Local services in San Diego

An old review of this location that said the staff is unhelpful is the absolute opposite from my experience today. They are so helpful and kind. However, I must admit I felt smothered. I will not be going back to Athleta in person because 1. I felt pressured to buy, and 2. four women came up to me within 5 minutes asking if I needed help. I still give 4 stars because they are so attentive and knowledgeable. However, I am an introvert and was very overwhelmed by the constant questioning from all employees. I did not have time to think about what I wanted. I also imagine that due to location they are trying to prevent theft loss. I respect the job they have to do is difficult. I would simply suggest they assign one employee to each customer because I was in a whirlwind of too much confrontation! I personally feel that asking a person more than once every 5 minutes if they need something...

So goodbye to the OC. You can skip the drive to Huntington Beach now that there's an Athleta store in San Diego.

If they don't have your size in stock, you can order it online while you're in the store. There's computers by the cashier register and the dressing rooms.

But where are all the swimsuits? Come on guys, this is San Diego, we're in the water year round. Keep suits in stock instead of making us have to order them online.
