I stopped in recently opened Camino Farms at the Alexan Gallerie Apartments. I came in for a coffee and some breakfast. I had a cortado and a peanut butter toast served on multigrain bread and topped with chopped walnut, strawberries, and blue berries with a drizzle of organic honey. The cortado was $5 and the toast $8.
The cortado was very good. It was smooth and offered a very good coffee flavor. It was a medium roast by Cafe Moto, a local roaster. The peanut butter toast was tasty. I do think they should use a thicker toast however. I loved the abundance of organic peanut butter, freshly sliced strawberries, blue berries, and most of a, those crunchy walnuts. The honey they used was very good, too. I do suggest that they serve the toast open faced. I had to request it after I saw the lady make it into a sandwich.
This place also serves as a cafe, market with wine and craft beers, and butcher. They make fresh sashimi and sushi rolls, and make hot breakfasts, sandwiches, baked goods at the coffee counter, and shawarma.
The service is friendly. They offer comfortable outside seating. They accept online orders through their website...
Read moreI stopped into Camino Farms after an early morning appointment nearby and was so impressed. I originally found them through Instagram (missed their cinnamon roll pop-up — still sad about that), but I’m so glad I finally made it in.
I ordered a dirty chai, which was excellent, and their Classic Camino breakfast sandwich with bacon. The bacon is “millionaire’s bacon” — sweet, spicy, and absolutely delicious.
I also picked up a few grocery items, including some of my favorite crackers (hard to find elsewhere) and shredded raw cheddar — such a great surprise. They carry a ton of clean, high-quality brands I usually have to order online. Bonus: they have an impressive whiskey selection I’ll definitely come back for.
The outdoor patio is peaceful and quiet — a perfect spot to enjoy your coffee or breakfast. The barista also mentioned their half-off coffee before 8am, which is an amazing deal.
