We had lived with a bland yard for 8 years before EcoDesignSD transformed our shrubby scrubby front yard, side and back yards into delightful, colorful, low water gardens with a tremendous variety of plants, succulents and trees. My only regret is that we didn't do this sooner! EcoDesignSD's team made great recommendations for how to personalize our outdoor spaces so that we got more use and enjoyment out of them and then made it happen. Very pleased. They helped us to create outdoor rooms in some places (for example, we changed a no longer used trampoline area into an outdoor space with a small kidney shaped area of artificial turf surrounded by a low water garden. We added chairs, a hanging chair and an umbrella and a fountain in the garden and now enjoy it almost daily). In a boring side yard, they built for us a custom French door pergola over a fountain; in the front, they swapped out our "freeway shrubbery" for a dry river bed surrounded by low water plants, roses and an acacia tree. In another side yard, we created a growing garden by adding two custom knee-high garden boxes and a delightful DG pathway, and added succulent envelopes to our fence to brighten it up. In addition, they replaced the entire sprinkler system with drip irrigation, added new landscape and uplighting and installed overhead lights. It was an investment we are so glad we made. We have had several projects with contractors at our home and our experience with EcoDesign SD was the best by far! EcoDesign did a full landscape design, installed plants, irrigation, and a redwood pergola for our front and back yards. Veronica is a communicative and professional business owner. She led the design process from start to finish and really listened to my preferences to create a design we were both excited about. The installation crew was outstanding. Our foreman, Jorge, communicated with me throughout the whole process and pointed out things that we might want to consider changing from the original design. The team worked hard Monday through Saturday, rain or shine, and was always respectful of our space. They cleaned up every evening. To say the team is meticulous is an understatement: I've never seen a landscape team so precise in their work. Even the weed barrier, which was later covered up by mulch, was installed with care. When it came time to buy the plants, Veronica called me to discuss several suggestions for changes from the original design. Some of our original choices were not available or did not look healthy at the nursery, so we swapped them for something better. I love all the changes we made and I appreciated being included in those decisions. After a lot of searching and meetings with potential landscape designers we finally found the one for us!

Veronica, Ashley and the team have been fantastic and very accommodating during the renovation process. The CAD rendering really helped us to hone in on our final layout. Trust me, it is well worth the deposit to move forward with the CAD!

During one of our initial site walks Veronica said the team would be dedicated our project, Monday - Friday (some Saturdays), and they were! This kept the project on time. The build team was kind, courteous and cleaned up the job site daily! They were knowledgeable about our project and reviewed our plans every couple weeks with Ashley to make sure we were on track.
