The workout is similar to Orange Theory, but it incorporates more weights, which I like. There is a good balance of weights and cardio.
The workouts move way too fast. You have no time in between sets, so you feel like you are so rushed to figure out what weights you want to use. I get that they want to squeeze 50 minutes in, but you don’t feel like you are getting all the benefits of the workout as it’s very rushed.
When you sign up, no one explains the cancellation policy. There is no front desk office where you can call, nor is there any kind of contact number. I had to cancel for a laceration I got in my leg and I had no way of canceling, so they charged me an extra $15.
You have very little time to clean your station to move to the next. There are paper towels and spray around the room, but only two trash cans to dispose of your paper towels. Everything feels very rushed.
The location is decent. There is typically parking available but it’s tight. The instructors are good. They seem very knowledgeable and caring.
I will stick with the gym for a short time but don’t see this as a long term...

I used to hate group workout classes and would get bored of fitness styles I tried in the past but I fell absolutely in love with this gym family, the coaches who are absolutely amazing and have helped me through multiple random injuries I’m so good at racking up, the good vibes, and I can honestly say 1.5 years later I have yet to get bored. They constantly change up the routines and it’s very challenging - every single time I leave soaked in sweat and feeling amazing! The workouts are no joke - not for the faint of heart but oh my goodness is it worth it! That said, the coaches can walk you through any mod you might need and have done so for me a million times. I have actual abs now and definition I’ve never been able to get with other workout routines and I’ve tried just about all of them. Do yourself a favor and check this place out...
Read moreI miss Renegade so much! I joined this gym while working in San Diego short term. I don’t know how to describe the workout other than it’s awesome. This is the first time in awhile people actually noticed that I have been going to the gym. Each day has a specific focus (legs, shoulders, arms, core, etc) and I’ve never had a workout like that. I love it. I think that’s part of what brings great results. You’ll also get some good cardio in with the strength training.
I primarily went to the Point Loma location. Luis and Michael are my favorite coaches. They really push you and also make sure you are doing the movements correctly and effectively. I thought the price was reasonable. Watch out for the cancellation charges though!
