Please be safe and watch out if you have photosensitivity issues or are sensitive to harsh lighting!! This location (or SoulCycle in general) does NOT provide any sort of disclosure or awareness when you book classes with strobe or harsh lighting.
We had an instance during class where they abruptly turned on strobe lights with zero warning or disclosure before the class started (and I do not mean the “new rider waiver” that says that this is “part of the SoulCycle experience”) this was especially shocking for someone with a slight photosensitivity issue. Luckily we were able to just close our eyes, but the idea that someone would be unknowingly triggered into a seizure because of this locations lack of awareness or concern really upsets me. And if you are triggered into a seizure, you are locked into that bike, surely to get hurt on SoulCycle’s expense.
I just want to say for the record that this is so rude, you cannot exclude an entire group of people from enjoying your classes because this is “the experience”. And you cannot advocate your business as a health and wellness facility if you don’t care about inclusivity. This exclusion could be easily avoided with a pre-class disclosure or a notification of the light change during class. To not do this is purely irresponsible and ridiculous. If not all classes utilize harsh lighting WHY wouldn’t you inform those of the ones that do? Photosensitivity issues are broad and can effect almost anyone!!

Read morePark in the Mall on the end near Nordstrom (left). Parking is free for first two hours. Park on the 1st level and take elevator to L1 and the studio is right there! Don’t park by valet where Google maps takes you to construction.
Class is good, but the worst customer service I’ve experienced across 6+ studios in 3 states.
Before class starts and we are clipping in—I had the SoulCycle app out for a moment to make sure I was in the right seat. The instructor immediately mentioned it. I put the phone down and let them know I was trying to find my seat. They say class is not full so OK to just sit. Great. Class goes smoothly.
Immediately after exiting the class another person comes up to tell me again about the phone, despite no further interactions with it.
It doesn’t feel like a fun, intense class when the staff behaves this way. Just like you’re in a cranky old lady’s library being scolded for skipping to your favorite book.
If this is your only experience with SoulCycle I would try another one before writing this one off. The bad reviews are indicative of issues this location needs to correct, but I’ve never had this issue in any other...
Read moreI arrived ten minutes early to class. The front desk was not helpful and extremely rude. All she said was you have to download the app and offered no instruction. We then had to wait in line and by the time app downloaded we couldn’t reserve a bike bc class already started. I used Classpass, so then she intentionally failed to check me in. No one notified me that if you are not checked in that there is a THIRTY-ONE DOLLAR charge AFTER I paid TWENTY DOLLARS for the class (so $55 for a 45 min class) - and then Classpass wouldn’t remove it and asked me for a “selfie” I would have taken at the class to prove I attended - I proceeded to have to fight with both Classpass and the gym for HOURS - what a headache and horrible policy on Classpass and SoulCycle both - they should alert the customer BEFORE assuming they just weren’t in the class and charging them an insane amount of money. Will not ever...
