Heaven on Earth: The Ultimate Japanese Headspa Experience
I recently had the absolute pleasure of indulging in a Japanese Headspa treatment at Unplugged, and I can honestly say it was one of the most luxurious and rejuvenating experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a calming atmosphere—soft music, tranquil scents, and a warm, welcoming staff who made me feel immediately at ease.
The treatment itself was nothing short of magical. It began with a soothing scalp analysis and consultation, followed by a series of deeply relaxing steps—gentle exfoliation, warm water flow therapy, and the most divine scalp massage I’ve ever experienced. Every motion was intentional and therapeutic, releasing tension I didn’t even realize I was holding.
What stood out most was how holistic the experience felt. It wasn’t just about hair care (though my scalp has never felt cleaner and my hair looked noticeably shinier and fuller afterward); it was about total mind-body relaxation. I left the spa feeling lighter, clearer, and incredibly refreshed—as if I had just returned from a vacation.
If you’ve never tried a Japanese Headspa, do yourself a favor and book one immediately at Unplugged. It’s not just a treatment—it’s a reset for your nervous system, a gift to your senses, and a true act of self-care. I can’t wait to go back!!!
I have already purchased several treatments as gifts and each recipient is obsessed! Thanks to Jaimie and team for providing such an amazing...

My husband and I booked a 75-minute couples package, and it was such a relaxing experience. Here’s what it included:
Scalp Analysis– It was fun learning about the health of our scalps! I couldn’t believe how many strands of hair grow from a single root—wild.
Aromatherapy– We chose cedarwood, and it was such a pleasant, grounding scent.
Milton GOLD Line Deep Scalp Treatment – Left my hair feeling incredibly lightweight and clean.
Touch Therapy– My goodness… the face, shoulder, and arm massages were everything. The perfect touch on top of it all.
Water Therapy– This felt amazing—the gentle water pressure and warmth created such a calming, almost meditative moment. I didn’t want it to end!
Hot Towel– So soothing on the neck! I do wonder if a cold towel on the face might have felt even better?
Milbon GOLD Line Treatment with Steam– Not sure if this part was included after all… it may have been removed from the package.
Mini Facia – Left my skin feeling super fresh and clean.
Simple Blowdry– This one I could’ve skipped; since it wasn’t styled, it left my hair a little frizzy (hehe).
Overall, Jaimie and Bri were amazing! From the warm orientation outside to the serene spa experience inside, we left feeling completely recharged.
Big thanks to Jaimie’s husband as well for helping us book the appointment over the phone—excellent customer service, which truly sets the tone for the...
Read moreI wanted to treat my husband with something relaxing for his birthday. He loves massages and getting his scalp scratched so I was excited when I found Unplugged Headspa, which combined the two. I'd been to a Japanese head spa before in Japan and I have to say I enjoyed my experience at Unplugged more. I booked the couple's Unplugged Package about a week before the appointment. The team was very responsive and even had a birthday card for my husband.
When we got to Sola Salons, Toure was at the entrance ready to greet us. I actually chose Unplugged because their videos on Instagram looked so relaxing and I recognized Toure from the videos haha. Hilberto was my headspa specialist and Jamie was my husband's. Every team member was so welcoming and kind. They walked us through the process and made us feel comfortable the entire time. The room was cozy and well decorated making the experience peaceful from start to end. The treatment was wonderful, a perfect mix of scalp treatment, shoulder/arm massage, and a mini facial.
My husband and I already want to make coming here a regular thing for us because we enjoyed it so much. We'll...
