I said to myself oh my baby jesus maybe theres only one calm down BUT THERES MORE EVEN ONE IN THE BOWL the breakfast is ONLY SWEETS and the container is falling apart like it’s from the trash and the floors are dirty i dont even wanna give this place a star in the front desk they don’t even answer the phone even when it’s a emergency

I have stayed at several locations in California. I never had an issue until I stayed at the San Dimas location. There was dirt and hair in the bathroom. The floor was dirty and the sheets were also dirty. They had to call someone to come in and clean because they obviously did not clean when the last person checked out. I had to wait for them to wash the sheets because they did not have any extra clean sets. That being said, I like the fact that it is pet friendly and you can leave your animal in the room if you are staying for work.

Very uncomfortable old bed. It had rips in the mattress. I waited 3 hours for a luggage carrier. The general manager was there. He said he has worked there for 10 years and doesn't understand why people keep the baggage carrier's in their rooms. He admitted that it has been a ongoing problem with no resolution. I immediately understood why the outside is trashy and the mattresses have tears in them. The room smelled horrible. I even bought bleach to clean the stove myself. Dirty room. Im a straight shooter with my opinions.

Room filthy, obviously housecleaning doesn't bother. Broken microwave, loose toilet seat, shaky towel rack. Child's dirty handprints, spit, and face prints all over the cabinets and window. Slow bathtub drain, some kind of funky stuff on the bed skirt. Woodwork and cabinets rotted out, cigarette stains on bathroom counter, ripped curtains and broken curtain rod. ALTHOUGH THEY SAY THEY DO ON THEIR WEBSITE, THEY DO NOT SUPPLY DISHES AND UTENSILS IN THE KITCHENETTE, OR FREE BREAKFAST. The only reason i booked a two night stay here even though i know how the area is, is because i needed a kitchen to cook for my husband after he gets off work, WE ARE NOT ON VACATION, and after paying full price AND a pet fee, i figured they would Up all night paranoid about bugs, I went to the front desk to inform manager about the terrible shape of the room in the morning. She seemed concerned at first and then said "bottom line, what do you want? How can we rectify this?" I explained that MY room was now cleaned with clorox wipes by myself and I got a new microwave, not worth the move for just one more night. My house is under construction here in San Dimas. I asked if she had a king size bed studio available in the part of the hotel where they take more interest in guests satisfaction and i asked if i was placed in the area for the government assisted staying. The location is near the freeway and EVERYONE knows they live near the 57 over pass in the bushes and behind buildings. I've been told by law enforcement that when they get their checks or hotel vouchers they stay in Motel 6, a block away, or here.

Manager got offended and said "they wouldn't put a trader Joe's in a bad area" Wow, really??? That's your snickery response? The outside of this hotel is filthy and terribly kept and pretty smelly. Trader Joe's is in san dimas but in a completely different area. I've lived in San dimas all my life and it's an absolutely wonderful law enforcement loving community, but this spot is where the homeless are gravitating to. There's fast food restaurants galore and beggers in the shopping center. I had a legitamate question. Yesterday I saw a couple very nice seniors and professionals ON THE OTHER SIDE.

Let's face it, any intelligent person would see that I had a valid point but she was beginning to look at me with empty eyes and plugged up ears. Why? Because either shes falling down on her job as THE MANAGER OF THIS HOTEL, or she's lying to me about seperate areas after putting me on the "no cleaning, no accommodation, no respect" side.

I left at 10am to check on my home construction, and take the dog to the park. After getting tired of fussing with my TV remote because the part that clips on the back to hold the batteries in is missing a small part, I went down to ask for another remote and another towel. I have one towel on the floor in the kitchen and one under maggies water and food bowl to keep the already dirty floor from getting gross. My husband is coming today after work and needs a towel to shower.

The guy at the front desk said they have no more remotes and taped the batteries in. Ok. Then he said I had to bring my dirty towels down before I can get another one!!!!!!!!!! BRING MY DIRTY TOWELS TO THE FRONT DESK IN ORDER TO GET ANOTHER CLEAN FRESH TOWEL AFTER PAYING EXTRA FOR A DISGUSTING ROOM!!!!!!!!

Look, if your lucky, you may get a nice room reserved for special guests or something and how thats determined I'm not sure, but I have a dog and they charged me full price for her too, then put me in this dilapidated filthy room.

I just told him "you guys charged me 50 more for my ESA (not a full service dog but trained and certified anyway) and can't give me another towel without making me go get my dirty ones?" The guy at the front desk went to the back and slammed the door. this is by far the worst hotel stay I've ever...

The room was clean and comfortable, but that was about the only good thing I can say about this hotel. I arrived with a friend for a 6 day stay at the hotel. My friend who was staying with me is handicapped with a painful recent knee surgery. He is a 75 year old Marine combat veteran who was wounded in Vietnam with several gunshot injuries, including one to his knee. I am a 71 year old a Vietnam era veteran. I arrived the hotel and waited for the desk clerk to show up. I needed to use the rest room badly, but was told there are no public rest rooms in the hotel. I was extremely uncomfortable and proceeded to check in as quickly as possible because of this, but Jackie, the desk clerk told me that the other person staying with me had to come in and present his ID and be identified before I could check in. I was parked on the other side of the hotel, so I went to the back door and I tried to get my friends attention in the van to get him to come in. I held the door open as I did this. Then all hell broke loose when an alarm went off, and Jackie came running and ordered the door closed immediately. I explained I was trying to get my friends attention to get him to come in to present himself. She threatened to cancel my reservation if I didn't close the door immediately. I asked if she would let us back in that door if I went out to get him and bring him in. She refused and told me to go out the front door and walk all the way around the building and come back the in the same way, regardless of his disability. I then asked if my key card would allow us to use that door, and she said "No, it doesn't work". California experienced historic torrential rains during our stay, so we were forced to walk all the way around the hotel to enter every time. My friend slipped and almost fell Sunday night in the rain storm and twisted his knee, causing him much pain. The handicapped parking spaces were always full, so we could never use the front entrance and there were never any parking spaces left on that side of the hotel for us. I have never encountered such a rude and uncompromising individual who has no compassion or the basic understanding of customer service. Such disrespect is sickening. Jackie should be cleaning rooms, and not dealing with customers of your hotel. She made a bad situation much worse.

More issues, such as you don't have an ice machine for your guests. Good grief, Motel 6 has ice machines! I asked another desk clerk where the ice machine was and I was told to "make my own" with the ice cube tray in the refrigerator! Are you kidding me? Your "Grab and Go" breakfast is a joke. Coffee and a Granola bar? Sure, you'll supply pots and pans, but who has time to buy groceries and cook your own breakfast when you are here? Also there was no offer to service the room with fresh towels during the entire six day stay. This hotel was no bargain, and many others offer much more for the same price or a few dollars more. Come on, why don't you try to be a real hotel with real service instead of Motel Hell? Needless to say, we will never stay at an Extended Stay America again and will make sure we never recommend anyone else to stay...

Giving this hotel 5 stars not because it's the Ritz-Carlton but because staff is trying their best with what they got. Upper management only cares about high ratings and uses 5-star reviews to educate their decisions. Corporate offices should be ashamed of their restrictive budgets and restrictive scheduling. How do you expect resort quality on a skeleton crew? If you're really only going to give them $1,200 a month to spend on towels and sheets and only one crew member on site at peak hours, you're failing your clientele and your staff.

It's an Extended Stay America. If you're worried about the old carpets, outdated decor, and simple breakfast snack bar, you should ask yourself why it's $100 cheaper than the Mariott. Be real. Fork out some more cash if you're going to be a big baby about it.

Anyway, this particular ESA is alright. I liked the exterior. There's a cute pathway into the lobby and good landscaping. I liked that there was a small grassy area for guests to relieve their animals. It was stocked with doggy bags so they could pick up after themselves. Side note: If you're the type of person that leaves your dog's feces on the grass, risking someone else stepping in it, or expecting staff to pick it up (again, only one person on site) I hope you get a flat tire.

Yes, the interior has its issues. My door wasn't working so I went downstairs and offered to change out the batteries myself since I didn't want to make the staff walk away from their ridiculous list of responsibilities. (Which other hotel chain makes a front desk representative do laundry, AND do dishes, AND inspect rooms, AND check people in, AND clean the lobby?)

My room had no bath towels because, again, corporate offices do not provide ESAs with enough funds to replenish their inventory. I went downstairs and picked up a couple, no biggie. Bathroom sink didn't drain so I just used the kitchen sink. Again, why am I going to create a fuss about this? Don't they have enough on their plate? TV remote wasn't working so I just went and switched out the batteries. I feel like I left this place better than I found it. It's called being a compassionate human being.

Special shout-out to Kayla for checking me in, overnight fellow (forgot his name, I'm so sorry) for helping with my TV remote, and Marivel for checking me out. You can't knock down this staff! They're the real heroes here. 5-star customer service....
