My wife and I were in the market for a built-in fridge, through our research we wanted to keep our business local, so we visited Pacific Sales in San Dimas. Our first visit was fine a salesman, who showed us some products, and we went home to discuss our options. The next day we get a pop-up ad on the computer from Pacific Sales for a built-in fridge with decent discount, so we decided to go and check that item out, however the original sales person was not there, so we got helped by someone else. As soon as we mentioned the ad he became noticeably upset, telling us they don’t have that item in stock. We understood so we ask to see brochure again, but they didn’t have any, so we asked if he can show us any pictures online. The answer was no; he kept pushing us to consider something they have in the showroom and stated that he doesn’t know anything about the ad. Luckily, we had a copy of the ad. He then stated that this item is discontinued and sold as is, we can’t see it, and if we bought it and didn’t like it we are stuck with it. We explained to the salesperson it did not mention any of that in the ad and we still want to make the purchase. When he started the paper work he began to ad his own conditions on the order receipt, such as SOLD AS IS, NO RETERN NO INSTLLATION. At that time, I asked to speak to a manger, who was unprofessional and unaccommodating. My wife and I waked out of the store stunned with the customer service. BestBuy is a Pacific Sales retailer also, so we drove to West Covina BestBuy walked in and spoke with a nice lady in appliance sales, showed her the ad and walked out an hour later with a new fridge sale, no nonsense included. The delivery, installation, and icemaker filter, as well as the removal of the previous fridge was all included in the price as advertised. That’s how you make sale and happy customer. Read moreThis is LONG..but worth the read. I walked into Pacific Sales for the very first time to pre-shop for a clients Hacienda project. I met Stephanie and WOW...I was very impressed! She knows all her products and the various features to ensure you're getting the best possible options. I returned a wk later with my client and their kids to shop for the entire homes spaces(10 different spaces for bath,kitchen hardware) She was an absolute professional and organized to the tee. I was so impressed! Okay...and here's the jaw dropper- she printed up room by room (colored images)design booklet of all of our choices!! Holy smokes...class act all the way! In My 19+ yrs of doing design..I've never had a single vendor even offer to do that! Needless to say, my clients were very impressed and moved forward with all the selections and approved the order. Unlike many other places - her amazing customer service did not stop there - after the order, she still answered my calls, builders calls for misc questions. Just went through a kitchen remodel and bought all my appliances through Gabriel. He was extremely helpful in going through the pros/cons of the various higher end appliances. Ultimately guided me to what works best for me and my budget (Thermador). Where he went above and beyond is managing expectations through the logistical challenges incurred by COVID.
He set conservative delivery expectations vs telling me what I wanted to hear and then micromanaged each appliance to get it to me as soon as possible. He was able to pull in a few deliveries by tracking inventory on a daily basis and helped source alternative parts for my hood when the initial part had no ETA and was blocking kitchen completion.
