Nice guys but some low grade equipment. In particular stay away from the plumbing snakes (or CHECK THAT THEY'VE UPGRADED to POWER FEEDS!)

Consider Home Depot instead!

Described my problem, clogged drain to be accessed through tub. They said alright here's what we have.

Rented a 50ft drain snake. Got it home and realized it was NOT a power feed! Why would anyone rent a non-power 50ft feed snake? Why would anyone even stock one at a rental shop? Anyway, couldn't make it go around even the first bend. I'm handy too, and own my own little power feed 25 ft. (which works fine, but isn't long enough)

Home Depot rents power feed snakes for the same $35 / 4 hours, it's worth the drive!

When I brought it back to the shop they seamed to expect that it didn't work. They asked if it worked, and then charged me ONLY $20 for the rental. No surprise to them!

Great, but what about the 90 min I wasted on this? And it still cost me $20? Ended up calling a plumber, but next time will go to Home Depot. Being national, and having a rep to defend they only stock high quality stuff in my experience.

That snake is mostly unused, just sitting there collecting $20 on unsuspecting novices!

Rented an appliance dolly here when I needed to move a refrigerator. Dolly was old but solid and in good working order. Moved the refrigerator up a flight and a half of stairs without any issues from the dolly. The counter staff was friendly and efficient. They got me through the paperwork of the rental in about 10 minutes. Another employee helped me to load the dolly into my car. Action is definitely OG, they have a good mix of stuff that is useful for contractors and homeowners, especially some stuff that is really SF specific that you would need for rehabbing older SF homes. Like for instance tiny excavators and skid steers that can fit through 36" wide doors. If there's a problem with something they rent you, call them, they will make it right. I rent from places all through the Bay Area, sometimes rental machines refuse to start or don't run as expected, happens from...
