Usually people don't think about a plumbing supply store when they are writing superlatives. Well, this store is rare gem. I do most of my plumbing myself and it so happened that we had a leak in our shower and I had to replace both facets, seats, washers, diverter and shower head (might we well do the shower head, it's been a while). I took out the old crumbling parts (easily 70 years old) and, unsurprisingly, the first three plumbing supply stores didn't carry these anymore.

When I came to A-1, I didn't have my hopes too high. I was wrong. Uriah, the owner, is a rate kind of an honest professional. He took one look at the parts and immediately knew which parts and maker they were and got them for me. I also picked a shower head and a pipe wrench but Uriah warned that the wrench he carried that day might come with a sticker shock and recommended I look for a cheaper one at another store. I came here while doing a small DIY bathroom plumbing repair. I didn't have any experience with plumbing and was learning as I went. The guy who helped me was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and patient with my basic questions.

He helped me find the part I needed, taught me some things, and the woman who worked here even sold me a new part for half off after I broke the first one accidentally once I got home.

Another big plus is that they actually had the part I needed in the first place. I'd gone to a hardware store and another plumbing store, neither of which had it.

I will 100% come back here for any plumbing projects...

these guys are the absolute best.. the nicest, friendliest and most helpful folks I've encountered with my remodeling adventure..they had everything on hand and in stock from several small copper fittings to large cast iron pipes with associated angles and brackets for everything.. They even had vent pipes and brackets and overflows and tons of 4 band couplers in 3 sizes...A1-Plumbing is a slam dunk when I need...
